Kurt vs HBK was AWESOME! I don't think I've watched this WM since it aired and I'd totally forgotten how great this match was - my only complaints were that Shawn milked the tap too long and the mat work at the start went on a bit long just to establish that Shawn could more than hold his own against Angle. So many awesome spots though, that Asai crossbody onto Angle over the announce table, Olympic Slam off the top rope Olympic slam countered into a sunset flip, Shawn's outta-nowhere Sweet Chin Music, etc. Great fun.

I watched it again the other week, I do think it drags a bit in parts but in no way is Shawn trapped in the ankle lock at the end one of them, it's the best kind of milking.

I miss JBL the wrestler. Just a big mean dude who beat the fuck out of people. He had some lovely titties, too.

They made the clothesline from hill that much more intimidating before he actually struck.
JBL is actually one of my all time favourites even if his actual matches aren't all that.

I watched it again the other week, I do think it drags a bit in parts but in no way is Shawn trapped in the ankle lock at the end one of them, it's the best kind of milking.

Just went on too long for my tastes - Shawn's already been milking it for a good 2 minutes when Kurt drops down and grapevines the leg, which is the moment Michaels should tap out as far as I'm concerned, but he then goes another minute before finally tapping. I mean, yeah, they're emphasising how much HBK doesn't want to give it up at WrestleMania, of all places, but it still went too long for what it achieved. Same goes for the mat work at the start of the match - if HBK had injured Kurt during those opening minutes and they'd then called back to that injury, that would have given the mat work more purpose, but as it is they spend too long on meaningless mat work just to establish that Shawn can hang with Kurt on the mat.
