Is there anyway to tell how much of the hardware figure are MNG bundles?Mithos Yggdrasill said:Considering that in Japan, Minna no Golf was a bigger franchise then Metal Gear Solid, yes. But considering the userbase: no. After all, almost 20% attach rate is not bad at all. Of course I don't think that a sane guy think that with a userbase of ~2 millions (if the trend continues), Final Fantasy will sell 1.5 millions. There are limits to attach rates.
Was that sarcastic? It's a similar yet smaller bump than Gundabump. Anyone have the VF5 bump number?rakka said:WOW @ PS3![]()

jimbo said:Nice MNG sales. Why are people complaining. That's great for a PS3 game. People need to stop expecting PS3 sequels of big PS2 games to sell like they did on the PS2. It's not going to happen. Come on folks, the PS3's been non-existant for months now. This can't freaking be a BAD THING!

Exactly, it did that badly, no excuse can save those numbers.Hcoregamer00 said:They will likely see it as a sign not to develop for the Wii anymore.

Pretty much, they thought that they made a game that aimed at Nintendo's market. Since it failed miserably they will see it as a sign that the Nintendo market doesn't want Konami's games. They don't see it as an ultimatum to make games for an older market, they see it as Nintendo's rejection of a Konami title.
Which means no more Konami.
Indeed. They already pegged the market as Kiddy and even called it as such. Them releasing two games on the same aesthetic level more or less supports this notion and the second one completely bombing will ensure that no worthy Konami title will probably ever grace the Wii in the next 3-4 years.Hcoregamer00 said:This is KONAMI, on a Nintendo platform.

I dont think that this is because of Mario but because of the genre and the audience of the Wii.titiklabingapat said:Like in the NPD, it still wows me that MP8 is selling so well. Only thing that could explain it is that the Mario brand on the Wii will experience the same surge that it experienced on the DS. There could also be some DS halo effect working here.
Super Paper Mario was a good prelude to the resurgence but the sales of a subpar game with a Mario in the name pretty much makes it undeniable. Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros Brawl should do exceptional in all territories.
Super Paper Mario sold very well, though. It sold more in its early few weeks than the other Paper Marios.Darji said:I dont think that this is because of Mario but because of the genre and the audience of the Wii.
Dewy a game bombed total and some minigamecrap like Mario Party 8 sells a shitload worldwide. You can now easily forcast the future lineup from Nintendo and otter developers.

Traditional games (not counting mini games) perform much better on Wii than on PS3, both in Japan and worldwide. Like Shiggy said, you're just full of crap.Darji said:Dewy a game bombed total and some minigamecrap like Mario Party 8 sells a shitload worldwide.
