Actually I was (and still am in the field for the most part), I always sucked at those signs though, in grade school the guy who taught me those signs told the class that the number on the same side of the gap was bigger. I definitely came off with the wrong impression and that always stuck. :\Fuzzy said:Ah, a math major.

Jammy said:I think Nintendo just shipped less units for both systems for the week. The DS dropped a hefty amount too. On good weeks they'll usually get more than 150,000 out there and 75,000 Wiis.

Great Rumbler said:Speaking of, can somebody post sales for PS2 from mid-to-late summer of the PS2's first full year?
That's the first year, but not the first full year.Square2005 said:This? From Famitsu summer 2000

Culex said:We need to start the GC takeover watch. The Wii is under 1 milion units to go until it surpasses the GC.
WII - 61,498 | 77,169 | 2,365,438 | 3,285,081
NGC - 68 | 102 | 9,000 | 4,178,468
So if the Wii averages 60k a week from here on out, it'll pass the GC in 15 weeks, or on Nov. 22 this year, nearly 1 year to the day of it's launch week.
I'll just keep writing in the 0 when I need them, I always seem to remember it right then. :loltanod said:Think "Alligator wants to eat the big number"

Im gonna guess the ones who also think the Ps3 will sell over 200k in the July NPD thread.PantherLotus said:![]()
That's the one that I think is the most mindblowing comparison. This thing is 2 months+ ahead of where the PS2 was at. And the PS2 is one of the greatest selling consoles of all time. It would be interesting to see how many people here think that the Wii will magically drop off in sales and never reach that magical status of best ever.
yeah that sounds about right. when does DQ9 drop? is that next year? The Sphinx said:OK... Realistically, when will DS pass PS2? I know the continuous sales assumption has them crossing on November 23, per Joshua's post. But we know DS will get a bigger boost than PS2 as the holidays approach and big games are released, meaning that the likely DS Day is earlier than that. Predictions?
I'm staking it on the first week of November.

I cant stop watching, I feel evil. I also cant fathom Gamecubes LTD with Wii's. Gamecube only sold 4 million? And the Wii is about to trump that in less than 2 years. :OArtanisix said:![]()

What, how God-shit-fucking-retarded your statement was? Yes, in fact. It makes me weep for humanity's dim future to see a vital organ that, in other vessels, worked out how to escape the stratosphere and cure many fatal diseases generate such a foolish assertion. Thanks for the headache, dude, I don't even have any whiskey in the house tonight.Paws of Fury said:it hurts, doesn't it?
