That's a pretty weak showing for Miku. I'm pretty sure Diva F 2nd and Diva F have charted far higher on their first weeks. I guess people really didn't like the removal of the MV's.

Diva X is all about 'Live Stages', there's no bespoke little MV stories anymore. I guess a lot of people cared about that. It also has a smaller track list to F 2nd.

Dragon Quest doing work, Heroes 2 will likely be towards the top as well later this year.

Splatoon selling another 100+ thousand units despite Wii U shortages, incredible.

Overall disappointing year so far though, i was hoping that 2016 would be a stable year for the console industry and the PS4's biggest games have done well but disappointing.

Higher than Mario? Considering Mario has Mario Kart, Mario RPGs, Yoshi, Luigi, Warioand the Party games among its spin offs, I guess Mario has the highest cummulative spin off sales.

Even though you are not wrong at all, i think it is needed to notice that those five Wii U games are not only on the Top 96, but also on the Top 30. What I mean, I that those Wii U games, even they are few, they sell quite well.

Well, Q1 is represented by that period of time, so actually it is Q1. But yeah, you're right. However, a made some references (*) that some sales might be outdated, mostly because Media Create only serves us the Top 20, and the chart is based on those numbers that we are given. In the case of Darius, I don't think it will affect a lot, how much could have the game sold after that? 2k - 4k more? I'm working on the Famitsu version, in order to havea more completed view.

Yeah I think it's important to say that a lot of sales are missing from this top, I know it's mentioned a few times already but for someone only taking a glance at the whole thing (probably most of the people clicking on this topic) it's a bit misleading.

I mean the ranking itself is most likely wrong bar the top 15-20 maybe.

It's still a huge effort to sort this data and it's far from being useless but the way it's presented may lure someone into thinking it's 100% accurate.

So is the story that the PS4 is another Vita? I'm not sure what the point was to say in the first place that the PS4 wouldn't be like the WiiU. Nobody ever said that.
But it likely won't do half of the PS3 there either. Not sure why this needed to be pointed out.

PS4 won't reach PS3 because it won't be sold for 10 years as PS3 was. But it will surpass half of those sales easily, they're actually very close launch alligned if I remember right.

This gen won't last as long (revisions or not) and the market is really different from years ago. I'm not saying it won't do more than 5, but the PS5 will be out by then.
Being aligned isn't the only thing being important for this. When you look at games announcements and sales, tastes evolving, competition, focus, etc, it'll be really hard for it to go to 6M.
