I've really not been getting folks' expectations here. P&D did drop significantly, which I agree with, but having two Wii U titles sell half-decently (especially considering what L~A is saying above) is surprising to me to say the least.

I would guess so... they pushed the digital version pretty heavily and it doesn't need the packs to help with loading like the disc version.

Also there's a certain number of people with Japanese WiiUs outside of Japan who probably bought the digital version.

The developers recommended the digital edition, because of better loading times. Normally digital game sales are about 10% of retail sales at least.

It's the lowest opening for an Experience Inc. DRPG on Vita so far. Not quite sure what caused it, other than the fact that the genre is quite well represented on the console these days:

To Heart 2 probably cannibalized a lot of the sales. DRPGs are long-ass games, you don't need more than one at a time. To Heart being a more established franchise probably helped too.
