Pretty low sales all the way around this week for anyone not named "3DS". I'm especially surprised at how low Ace Combat 3DS is but maybe I shouldn't be.

Everything dropped even worse than I thought. And damn the Vita is already at sub 20k, that's pretty damning :|

If all DLC came tied to $13 figurines, I'd consider all DLC to be free
Vita in coma, Ace Combat bomba ( though is "just" expected >30K in its first week).
3DS trio is still going strong.

Not surprising declines for nearly everything, still 3DS hardware and software doing great. with 7 games in the Top 20 (and 8 for the Wii)

Vita needs a title worth everyone's time and money soon, or else...
Sony should just get Polyphony Digital the fuck away from Gran Turismo and get them to make something for the Vita.

It's doing horribly compared to X-2, which is the whole reason for the "bomba" claims.

Yep, Vita is selling worse than the PS3 did in January '07 and everything except Mario and MH is tanking on 3DS.

Japan is not doing great.

What would have them make besides Gran Turismo? (Actually have they ever done any game that isn't Gran Turismo?)

It was such a big mistake launching the vita later in America and giving the 3DS the holiday season in western territories, its by no means all doom and gloom for the vita as i think NA and europe will receive it well but without compelling and unique software on the horizon you sort of have to worry for its long term success. Lets hope sony really deliver at e3 on the big unique titles.

3DS is really establishing itself as a true successor to the DS. Software numbers are pretty dam good for this point in its life time.

I just realised- the 3DS has already reached 1/3 of the LTD of Wii and over 1/2 of LTD of PS3! Pretty good for something that was considered Doomed not long ago!

I really think Spirit Camera will have strong legs. The uniqueness and AR use will help word of mouth grow and therefore gain some momentum during these slow months.

Also doesn't hurt that it has a budget price.

It wouldn't have been any different if the Vita had released in Dec. in the West.

I don't think people were expecting big sales from Spirit Camera and Ace Combat. RE, Rhythm Thief and FF will do better next weeks.

I remember a game called Omega Boost (?) that I believed was made by them. That could be a start. But, anything that turns them away from being the GT Company is better in my eyes. :)

it's sold out in a ton of places, it'll be down to whether they fancy running another pressing off or not.

This is a fatal frame game, they are pretty well know for having low prints and subsequently high value in the second hand market so i see this one as being the same boat.

Damn good reason i went and got it on the day it came out.

for 3DS - it's going to be interesting to see how the "success" translates into the financials (or how it doesn't i guess)

I was expecting 25-30k from Shinrei Camera, but it could have legs for the reason Skiesofwonder said before. Poor Ace Combat. How was the marketing for it? I didn't see a good effort on that front.

It's also interesting that there are more units capable of playing DSi-only games than standard DS games. I wonder if some devs will use this to avoid some DS piracy since DSi-mode flashcards are much less prolific.

With a lineup this bad it´s no surprise that Vita isn´t selling. The memory card scam isn´t helping either. Atleast there is ToI a DS port to save Sonys *** next week.

Looking at this sales it´s really surprising how SQEX started the development of FFX last week, a testament to Wadas amazing business sense. ;) Way to go if you want to run the series even more to the ground. Ok, there still is a PS3 version...
