Putting Peace Walker on console doesn't look like it helped much in Japan at all. Maybe Kojima Productions should have added significant content to it and released it at full price instead.

This is a very good second week for Mario.
Galaxy debuted with 250k, and it did 75k.
Galaxy 2 debuted with 337k, and then it did 110k.
It's in line with those two, and this Holiday it will have delicious legs.

But I find surprising that the expansion debuted even BETTER than the original on Wii... it was true there were stock problems for the first week of Sengoku Basara 3 on Wii, after all.

Big drop for Super Mario 3D Land. Wasn't expecting so much, I'm quite surprised. As some people would say now, it's a 3D Mario with 3D-like legs. Let's hope Christmas will change that.

It has the better debut of SMG2 but the benefit of Christmas legs which SMG didn't have. It will certainly outperform both.

Nice for 3DS hardware and great numbers for newcomers. Hatsune Miku with the Herculean performance.

But drop rates all over the board look scary. I hope we won't be left with a Super Mario Sunshine LTD score for SM3DL when it is all said and done.

It's on a systed with a tiny userbase going into a Xmas where the userbase will probably double over the next 2 months, it'll do more than fine

I think I've never seen a week with so many severe drops. Even Go Vacation got a big slap across the face and it was shaping into a solid leggy title.

-Type-0 should coast to 700k. Good stuff, the game deserves it.

-SM3DL will be monstrous over the holiday season.

-3DS maintaining over 100k sales is a good omen. Nintendo should get the unit sales it's looking for, though after the price drop, it's going to need a lot more software sales. New Love Plus getting delayed to 2012 is sort of a bummer, but MH3G still looms large.

That's a bad one. The GBA and DS ones dropped quite a bit less in week two, though the timing of the DS one being in early December probably helped those next few weeks.
