Men look better than women?

I mean, men don't need make-up or hair extension to look good. I'm not gay or anything. It just occurred to me that men are naturally better looking than women.

Most women look like a total mess without make-up. Especialy after they had children, it all goes downhill after that. And men stay often good even after they hit an old age.

And I mean in general. Not all men look better of course...

What do you think?
 
Once you get into the 40s and older, the vast majority of good looking people are men.

there are lots of chicks who look just fine without make-up.

men have undereye circles, blemishes, wrinkles, freckles, etc. too, but women are held to a much higher standard to have a flawless complexion then men are.
 
You're right men keep their looks betten than women when old age hits, but don't feel sorry for the women, just appreciate the good forture we have in being men :D
 
makeup damages your skin iirc so when they wear it so often and then you see them without it you see the damage? or maybe its just that you are so use to seeing them look amazing with it on so when they don't have it on they look bad by comparison?

nah. you are just used to seeing women with make-up thats all. basically women are expected to look good, and men are expected to be leaders. those are the respective attractive qualities for the sexes, societally. thats how society shaped you, thats what you expect. no sex actually looks better than the other, thats ridiculous.

Women looking worse as time passes doesn't sound like "good fortune" at all! In fact, it sounds like the worst thing ever. Unless you're gay, of course.

I know a lot of women that look great without make-up. I actually don't even like make-up. And the number of "bishonen" men that are prettier than women is exceedingly low.

This has nothing to do with being gay or anything.

I like women because they're women. It just that men do look better in general. I doesn't mean that I want to have sex with them.

That's more because of society and for the fact women feel they HAVE to wear make up to look good, which isn't actually true. Besides, male models/actors and so forth typically have make up on as well. :lol Personally, I think a lot of make up actually looks bad, I only wear a little bit of mascara and eyeliner and that's typically it. Only reason guys don't wear make up too is because then they'd be a woman. :D
 
most women who look pretty aren't actually caking on a lot of makeup, sorry.

the ones that do usually look like sluts.

The weird thing is that when men have feminine looks, they still considered good looking.
But when women look like men, they're considered unattractive.

So males look good with both features. While women look only good when they look like women.

I think that's the advantage of the male sex.

What are you basing these viewpoints on? Your world view? A world view in 2007? You do realize fashion magazines aren't a theory of science right?

Apparently when women are ovulating, they are more attracted to men with feminine features, and when they aren't, masculine features.

But before everyone starts jealously monitoring their girlfriend ovaries with ultrasounds at night to determine when she's most likely to cheat, as with all these things, it's not clear cut, all men have a combination of feminine-esque and more masculine features, all this means is that maybe women are more psychologically prone to appreciating different features at different times.



Anyway, men looking better than women.. well, female beauty is a lot more confined to only a few different "looks", whereas there is a sex icon for just about every kind of male body/facial type.

In the end you have to ask yourself what kind of beauty is important to you. Attraction is important, but there is the cookie-cutter glamour mag kind of beauty that panders to the faceless crowd, and there's the individual, one on one beauty that's what gives love and sexual attraction it's real power. The latter is less prone to the cultural aspects that alter the way male and female beauty is perceived.

Is that because of his looks, though? That's another thing- a guy can become a sex icon entirely regardless of his looks (musicians, etc). That's infinitely harder for a woman.
 
Well, there's beauty and there's sex appeal.

That guy definitely isn't Brad Pitt, but women still want to have sex with him.

Sex appeal is more subjective.
 
Women look fine without makeup. You've just been conditioned to think that it's second nature for them to wear it. Men are fucking ugly.
 
I'm gonna have to go with "it depends on the person's natural looks, how genetics play out, and how well the person takes care of him/herself."

I think that men age well in comparison to lots of women.
I think that gay men are 10x more attractive in general than most straight men.
I think that in general women look nice, but usually only before marraige/babies.

Sometimes there are straight guys who are very attractive it is hard to believe they are straight. Yes some of those metrosexuals.

Oh come on. That's only because we call old men 'distinguished'. In reality, their skin sags just like the other gender's. An old heart throb like Robert Redford now looks like a toe that's been in the tub for too long.

You're not thinking correctly. There's like a billion different treatments for male pattern baldness. Sure, those aren't extensions but that's not what men need.
