Honestly one of the best fighting game soundtracks ever, and a damn fun game that just never quite found a long-term audience. I feel like if you just unlocked all the "costumes" and let players quickly choose them from the start, maybe even add a couple of goofy "Nintendo" costumes, I feel like it would be a hit.
Microsoft should totally update Killer Instinct and bring it to the Switch 2

Why stop there? Add full cross play between ALL platforms and release it for Playstation 4 as well.

I have a fear that KI is one for those properties MS has forgotten about, and it won't make the leap in a reasonable time frame.
In truth it's probably already too late for KI to make an impact, but if it's not happening with the slew of former Xbox first party stuff this year, I don't think we see it until years down the line in some kind of sega ages style retro release.

yeah it was rubbish that this never made it to other platforms especially nintendo as that's where i originally played it back in the day on my dmg . maybe they will releases it or make a new one with switch 2 in mind . i'm sure there's bound to be sales on nintendo side from people that dont own the other platforms and nostalgia reasons.

KI is awesome, and even works online without a sub. With a good netcode no less. They did boost it to current-gen. But the game would benefit from being multiplatform. Its very feature complete since its been supported for years, chances are a sequel would feel nerfed at first.
