The technology, YES. You can see from the reception of Concord, Dustborn, the Marvels, the Acolyte and other content tailored for the "modern audience", the answer is almost clearly a NO.

- Pronoun selection in character creation
- Mini-map with quest markers
- Mtx blood echoes, armors, weapons, loot bundles
- Live service daily quests (e.g., "Kill 40 pigs"), season rewards
- Mix of orchestral, with EDM and rap/hip-hop beats as the OST
- Brighter pastel color palette
- Focus on wider inclusivity and racial representation
- Blood and gore On/Off option
- Easy mode
Seriously, all I would want would be 4k textures, 60-120fps, lamps behaving as bonfires/graces, blood "bell bearings", and the ability to respec. Chalice Dungeon improvements too, including all cut Chalice Dungeon bosses in a completed state.

Any of my action adventure or RPG favorites, doesn't matter which one, is now inferior Ubisoft trash for ADHD audiences with glowing breadcrumbs and quest markers everywhere and no actual exploration left.
Also, with autosave and mid-boss checkpoints everywhere nothing in them feels truly rewarding anymore. And idiots will defend these new versions with "bruh, I don't have time for boring walking in my games" while I'll be thinking "bitch, then go watch a movie".
