For some reason they started explicitly listing gaming earnings again.

$1.896b in gaming revenue for the quarter. Did not backfill previous quarter's revenue numbers.

Gaming related details:

  • Gaming revenue declined 5% (down 4% in constant currency) driven by lower Xbox console revenue offset by higher Xbox software and services revenue
  • Xbox Live Monthly active users grew 21% to 47 million
  • Xbox One won US console market share for Q1, driven by the launch of Xbox One S and new Xbox One game titles

Important to note the MAU number is down from previous quarter by two million. The 21% is referring to year over year.

Listing gaming revenue in earnings reports again?!!

This is sick, pathetic, and disgusting.

Did I miss any words people like to use that don't belong in the conversation?

I wish all the companies would just give us all the number every time for everything.

LMAO

Enjoy it until March. The Switch is coming.

So even with the launch of the XOne S they still had less revenue than last year?! That doesn't look too good.
