More like lack of foresight, like when xbox and PS had completely different apps for Netflix and one didnt autoplay next episode.

To be fair Disney+ is missing a lot of this simple stuff and still lacks a "Resume" feature, which makes finding where and what ep you left on if you fall asleep to be annoying.

Off topic, but what is netflix good for now anyway? If I want to watch a movie it probably isn't on there. And I'm not going to pay for like four streaming services just to maybe be able to watch the movie I want.

I suspect it not being there is the reason that "Netflix and Chill" exists. They wanted to hook in viewers and basically started the binge trend. Then when binge watching blew up they slowly distanced themselves from it and encouraged viewers to watch healthy.
