Looks good. Though how they missed the chance to have the OG cartoon characters face off against Tiamat....dammit!!

Hopefully these are proper short films with a build up and a resolution. The gaming based shorts from the first LDR were visually cool but not the most narratively stimulating versus the short story adaptations with a proper structure and a nice closing hook.

Yeah I liked LDR but only a few episodes are really good, and it's usually the ones that actually work as a proper short story (Zima Blue, Beyond the Aquila Rift and a few more)
A lot of them just feel like a pitch for a movie or TV show but not really like an actual well told short story.

Since it's supposedly a chapter about a bunch of playstation IP I guess it's going to be some random original character transported to various PlayStation worlds or some random world with a bunch of PlayStation characters

My understanding is that for the first LDR a lot of those WERE tech demos or basically game trailers. But since then they could have tapped better short stories to adapt and I don't think the 2 follow-up collections were as good. Hopefully these new ones are using game IPs slapped on to quality short stories, not just a 5 minute example of gameplay turned into a video segment.
