Modder BilladeiroSupreme on Nexus Mod has released a new mod that fixed Mary Jane square face that was target of criticism in the original release of the game

Albeit not a perfect change because of the game's meshes, it's a good improvement overall, other people are already working on improving the mod:

I’m actually curious about this one’s longevity since skyrim still has dozens of mods on nexus that make female characters prettier

No mod to get rid of the Mary Jane, "Mary Sue" levels, or to get rid of the ridiculous lgbtq side quests, so no buy. I bet if someone fixed those by addressing those issues by altering, or modding those out places like Nexus Mods wouldn't host them, which is another issue.
