Nexus Mods bans Tomb Raider Mod that removes warning

It's like the USSR won the Cold War and now we have a political commissar every where.

I didn't know devs could even complain and get shit banned. I'm surprised they don't complain about nude mods, not that I want them to. :p

Oh nevermind, this was a NM decision? lol

What are the costs to hosting a website such as nexus mods? About time someone else takes the reins.
It's not about cost. It has decades worth of mods since 2007. It's like asking "what are the costs of hosting a website like steam". LoversLab allows NSFW nude mods that nexus mods won't allow, and only niche porn modders care about that site.

All the mod authors won't just switch to a new site just because someone in a gaming forum demanded, neither will all the mods uploaded for decades magically come over.

Same energy as "Reddit is trash, switch to lemmy", "Twitter is trash, switch to Mastodon" or "Discord is trash, switch to Matrix". There are plenty of Nexus mods alternative out there (and many mod authors just don't use mod hosting sites), but the content from Nexus won't magically come over.

Where are all the gafers defending this warning screen? Who is the snowflake now?

'If you don't like it, just ignore it.'

Hypocrites.

Is there an alternative of NexusMods/Banana that doesn't tow this ideological retardation line?
Theres a site called Basedmods which is pretty much for mods that are "not allowed" there, its almost exclusively mods that got deleted elsewhere.

Too bad Nexus and Banana are very inconsistent with their rules.

NM is on a slippery slope to hell. I can't stand startup messages and logos. You read the thing once, then after that it's always going to be annoying and utterly useless no matter what it says. Political, health warnings, societal rules, anything, it doesn't matter. Shoehorning messages is always going to be annoying and useless, and there's nothing wrong in wanting to remove that kind of crap.

Edit: Private sites get to decide how and what they want to serve to their audience. Yeah, and I get to decide to serve my opinion about it.

Uh…drama over nothing?

Bonus Core Logo modded into the opening

Wait, why a mod? Just use '-nolegal' command parameter, done. Bunch of pathetic dumbfucks who don't even look for a more simple solution. I use the gog version and it works fine.

if stellar blade sells really well, then watch nexus mods and game banana immediately issuing statement of apology for their dumb business decisions.

Trust me, mods way lewder than Stellar Blade get posted daily on Nexus mods.
Just go to the NPC, Followers, Armour or Clothing section in Skyrim in Nexus. Unless it's straight up LoversLab content, it would be there.

I'm confused. Why does anyone need a mod for something you can get rid of in Steam's launch commands?
A load of mods are simple ini changes that people post for convenience. Some people aren't tech savvy at all apparently.

Savvy enough to install a game and then search Nexus for a mod, but apparently not enough to type a flag into a textbox. People are weird about what they will do.

Where does it end? Any day now mods that make female characters look sexier will be banned. Just want until Spiderman 2 comes to PC. There will be so many mods to make MJ look good again, and they will probably get banned.

It's not that it actually affects me or that I feel strongly about it, it's just that I don't like seeing people act like a bunch of whiny cuntrags.

Nexus mods is becoming increasingly retarded as years go by; did the founders leave or something, or is it just virtue signaling?
