How? Did you buy 15 copies?
I played for a few last night. And having randoms to rely on doesn’t work. So that is discouraging.
I went in and they went and attacked the giant tree knight and got wrecked.Once more people play it, they will all at least understand what to do.
Its not rocket science so I found most people went to whichever location I set on the map or I did if someone else led the play.

correct. So, correct me if I'm wrong, the next testing session starts in basically 3 hours, right?
Cheers! My mates and I had some connection issues that prevented us from completing night 2 twice, so I hope we have some better luck this timecorrect.
Also, the last one ran flawlessly for me, no rubber banding no lag everything worked flawless
In an hour right?Haven't had a chance to play yet, so hopefully on this next one.
I think there's trees on the ground that refill fp.How do you do the skills that are on the weapons, or if your the magic user, how do you recover MP?
I went from hyped to really doubting ever purchasing this. Really doesn't look like he's having fun.
like the ashes of war on the weapons? just L2. for the character specific spells, it's hold Y/triangle and press L2 for normal ability, R2 for ultimate. for the recluse, the mechanic is you do a Y/triangle+L2 to get affinity from any magic usage on enemies/allies to get back mp. if you see a big circle thing around where the lock-on dot is, you'll know that you can get affinity/mp back. relcuse is kinda complex to use. def something you gotta get used to.How do you do the skills that are on the weapons, or if your the magic user, how do you recover MP?
Losing my mind at the amount of people who are saying this game sucks because the network test lacks features and it lacks map diversity and the bosses are the same each run and that the enemies aren't randomized.
Are they just straight up retarded or what?
I think it's just people who think it's a typical game "beta" and just haven't looked into the game articles/interviews/etc. It is really annoying though lol. I feel like fromsoft really should've put a popup dialogue box at the start of every bootup that says "This is a small sample of the game with limited encounters, bosses, and randomization." It should be obvious given the name "network test" but yeah that's what it is nowadays.Losing my mind at the amount of people who are saying this game sucks because the network test lacks features and it lacks map diversity and the bosses are the same each run and that the enemies aren't randomized.

I'm on a Pro, and some of the asset loading has been abysmal. Moreso the rocks when you're trying to spam climb them. But it's a beta, stripped down etc. so I wouldn't worry about it.I've really enjoyed it so far, I obviously prefer single player souls but for something to play for an hour, it's absolutely perfect.
Great addition to my library as I've been wanting a replacement for destiny 2 for years.
Edit, I've just seen that the playstation version is having a few issues as the xbox series s version is beating it for textures loading in correctly.
I can't say I've noticed it on my ps5 pro but I'll have to check it out on the next play

How do you regain FP apart from the trees and grace sites?
As a caster during the boss fights I spam some spells and then just run around with my dick in my hand basically.
Weird that the flasks not give FP.
Also still didn’t figure out how to use the abilities..
You can go to sparring ground to practice. It gives you all the info you need along with the visual codex in the menu. For the recluse, the mechanic is you do a Y/triangle+L2 to get affinity from any magic usage on enemies/allies to get back fp. if you see a big circle thing around where the lock-on dot is, you'll know that you can get affinity/fp back.
Actually, the night tide is all bark no bite - the gradual health drop is so slow it often makes way more sense to finish what you're doing rather than abandoning a boss fight halfway, especially on day 2 when you're past level 10 and comfortably blasting through solo.I just don't understand the point of the closing circle? Nothing more annoying than fighting a mini-boss or being stuck in a cave while the storm comes in. Wouldn't it be much better to have a fixed 15 or 20min timer for each round, with no storm? There is also way too much unnecessary loot
The weapon pool is the same for all classes due to no stat requirements which I found weird and disappointing, as I thought restricting classes to weapon specialties would set them apart more effectivelyDifferent Classes also have things that set them apart that can change the entire way you play and build your character.
I think it's just abilities, passives and Ultimate Skills. Kinda like Warframe. Of course maybe there is a progression system for permanent upgrades in the full game. The weapon pool is the same for all classes due to no stat requirements which I found weird and disappointing, as I thought restricting classes to weapon specialties would set them apart more effectively
you get a set of rocks after the run that you can slot in and freely swap at your base, each with different passive buffs. Interestingly some of those give attributes to different classes than the one you can slot them for, again feels like made for playing with friends you can talk synergy withI think it's just abilities, passives and Ultimate Skills. I assume you can just swap Classes in between runs so these rocks can just be swapped in or out with any Character/Class and either promotes multiplayer(game's core focus) or gives incentive to farm solo for better slottable gear. This would be an interesting limiter, but they would have to change how the loot works. Right now it is a shared loot system and on top of that, if you were locked down to only a set of weapons that matched a specific class, that would mean you're essentially picking up garbage until you finally find a weapon you could wield, thus having to rely on buying weapons moreso than usual. It could potentially discourage any small amount of exploration this game has left, and that's already a bit low due to the speed of each run.The weapon pool is the same for all classes due to no stat requirements which I found weird and disappointing, as I thought restricting classes to weapon specialties would set them apart more effectively
You can swap them freely and save presets. What I mean is, the way some of them work is character A is carrying a buff for character B, and you can't assign that buff to B because the rock is in a "color" which only A can carry.I assume you can just swap Classes in between runs so these rocks can just be swapped in or out with any Character/Class and either promotes multiplayer(game's core focus) or gives incentive to farm solo for better slottable gear. Are these slottable rocks tradeable between players?
not really imo, loot comes from two places, either chests usually 2-3 bundled together with a variety of things inside that could be tailored for given 3 classes, or multiple choice pickups you get from bosses. The only advantage of the current system is players can "trade" weapons but I don't see that happen muchThis would be an interesting limiter, but they would have to change how the loot works. It doesn't happen much because of the game's pacing and open design of being able to use any weapon you want, which kind of goes against it.not really imo, loot comes from two places, either chests usually 2-3 bundled together with a variety of things inside that could be tailored for given 3 classes, or multiple choice pickups you get from bosses. exactly, the parameter would be chests and bosses dropping loot only for your class. Limiting each character to a few weapon types could be more interesting imo, not like there aren't enough ash of war and affinity combinations.they would have to change the RNG system of what loot is given to you if they were to go by your specific parameters, in order to make it fair over frustrating.
