Yeah, Nintendo's profit margins are insane.

Not that I am in favour of Sony's being the same as theirs, as I believe Nintendo is just short of profiteering, but PS5 margins are markedly lower than the PS4.

Sony are throwing money at discounting ps5s and maybe the ps5 Pro isn't off setting that enough. Couple that with 0 competition and that competitor having no stock worldwide there's only one real high end console option.

I don't think Sony will discount hardware as deep as they did in 2024, going forward. They don't need to.

The PS5 Pro profit margin is certainly lower than the normal PS5 based on the financial report we got today.
