XB1 leading in software sales in the US? Either the PS4 really takes its moniker "Indiestation" to an extent or everyone else is downloading their games on PSN.

Wow @ Destiny PS4 sales.
I wonder why Sony even bothers marketing the game for their console. Better drop this crappy series from now and focus on their own efforts or better third party partnerships.

I don't think they include bundles... which is where a lot of PS4 sales came from.
Probably Destiny PS4 outsold XBO version. Bundle sales is not in this chart

I'm surprised as well, but Destiny did sell quite a number of PS4s, which I guess could be more important to Sony.

Microsoft doesn't have the bundle rights to Black Ops games. Only Modern Warfare series and I guess now Advanced Warfare.Same, I don't think they will bundle halo and give it away for free.
What I can see next holiday:
AC5 bundle
Black Ops3 bundle
ROTR+TRE bundle
I also expect to see a white Quantum Break bundle aswell if they don't release a white before then.

Activision/Bungie confirmed a couple of months ago that the Destiny sold most on PS4 when you include digital and bundles. The game has been a clear success for a new IP.

I didn't think so (I couldn't think of a game that would have been able to reach those numbers), but the wording was a little weird. The other guy was probably right in that the Frozen DS game was somewhere up there on the list breaking the 3DS streak.
Xbox 360 received a bundle this year with CoD Ghosts and Black Ops II.
It still sold more than 1 million copies and better than Grand Theft Auto 5 on the same console, geez.

so Dent's numbers look fairly accurate then, Wii U is at ~584.5k using PS4 and ~581k using XB1
also, PS3 bounced back nicely (RIP my predictions), and 3DS *only* 367% more than Vita+PSTV?
PSTV was DOA from the start. No 1080p, no Netflix, and Vita game compatibility issues make this a poorly made micro-console.
Include bundles and the figures look way different. Anyway Destiny is going to be huge this gen. Sony would be stupid to listen to you.

Definitely. I dont think both QB and TR will both receive bundles though. It will probably only be one of them(at least at launch because of the proximity of their release dates). It's going to be interesting to see how close the release dates for those two are going to be. QB was targeting September and you'd have to think that Tomb Raider would release by Oct. to avoid the bigger releases.

Tomb Raider would be a "sweet" bundle for PS4 in Europe not for Xbox in America. Wouldn't be suprised to see a bundle for it, but it won't be the main one(probably a limited bundle like Madden/Sunset Overdrive) like we discussed.

Actual sales it might be but the PSP was a huge success while the Vita was a flop so it'd make sense that PSTV failed miserably too. And add in all the failures of the actual device and it was even more doomed.

No bundles. Shooters also a genre that's traditionally done better on MS platforms. The thing is still selling significant copies.

I just want Sony to stop marketing that game and focus their efforts somewhere else. GTA V is a better thing to focus on just like MS is playing it smartly with COD.

That's sadly, probably true, unless Smash and Kart have the legs the Wii versions did and Zelda U does better than Skyward Sword.
Hold up. I had a feeling PS4 would do better with digital, what with Amazon's PS store and the indie emphasis, but by how much?
3DS disappoint or Vita resurfaced. Amazon was selling Borderlands 2 bundle for $169

The Destiny salt is really uncalled for though. The game did well regardless of what it is.
I bought the DS version for a Christmas present. It's a good, simplistic platformer. Nice entry point for young kids. There aren't a lot of those that come through (they often need reading skills to figure stuff out or it's too demanding or just plain boring), so glad to see one like this!
