SFV digital sales might be higher than normal so retail might take a hit.
I need to see proof.

Let's hope your opinion is way wrong. I'm expecting near 400k personally. 200k just seems ridiculously low.
Gonna blame Amazon delays for that. Totally.
You can't handle the proof.
I need to see proof.
My feelings are usually pretty solid. ;-)
Who knows may be off on this one though
200k to 300k for street fighter? You are all crazy.
I need to see proof.
It will legitimately shock the living hell out of me if the game does 500k at this point. Nothing is impossible though I suppose
There's no way to show proof but SFV is one of these games fans would like to keep always installed and ready to play for a quick session anytime they feel like it.
I was referencing Demigod's earlier comments regarding tomb raider. A referential joke, to which Demigod replied with great skill.
Welp it flew over my head then lol >.>
Man! Anything less than 300K would be hilariously fucking low for SFV, anything close to 200K and Capcom may as well kill the franchise.
This should be an ps4 ad lol.Trust me, the impossible happens.
Especially if it's a PS4 game.

You'll take a taco bell meal, a $20 psn card and a pstv...take it or leave it!Sony, if you're reading this...
I'll take a one time payment of a PS4 and some good Blow.
Johnathon may have to be persuaded.Sony, if you're reading this...

SFV is going to be the only SF this gen I think. This is going to stick around for awhile, and they were getting payed by Sony anyway.
Also that reminds of Tomb Raider talk last year.
And you think Tomb Raider is in a good state? Xbox version underperformed big time, PC is looking to have a solid start but I highly it's gonna match TR 2013 numbers, and then you have PS4 verison coming this holiday season which will absolutely do worse than Xbox version.

Haha, that's like baiting a recovering addict with "just a little taste, for old time's sake".Chobel where do you stand on SFV's opening NPD month? We need to know how it will do...
Eh I'll go with tax season. Don't see sfv pushing consoles that much and amazon while incompetent sometimes usually has good stockPS4 Call Of Duty bundle out of stock on Amazon.
weird time to be going out of stock.
Tax Season , Street Fighter V or just Amazon incompetence?
Do you really want his tag to get worse and worse and worse and worse and worse?Haha, that's like baiting a recovering addict with "just a little taste, for old time's sake".
Chobel, just a little prediction... On a Sony console exclusive game, for old time's sake?
A bit too much demand. I don't think it will be anything severe.PS4 Call Of Duty bundle out of stock on Amazon.

Easy, Turbo. No shit sherlocke this is NPD. You might want to check what the discussion was about before sticking your nose in. And no Greenberg is not proof, yeah i knew you couldn't provide the facts.
Xbox family version is over 1 million, depending on how SE handle the PS4 port, it could shoot past the Xbox version just because of the install base difference and the ROTW, and TR 2013 has been on multiple sales and is $20 on Steam right now. ROTTR is $60, hasn't been out for a month, and still sold >460k on Steam.
Once every version is out, I wouldn't doubt that combined, ROTTR actually did good. It won't reach what TR 2013 did because that launched on 5 different platforms that were active, and now TR is only on 3 active platforms and 1 dead one.
Chobel where do you stand on SFV's opening NPD month? We need to know how it will do...
And how exactly is SE gonna handle the PS4 port in a good way? They're launching in the busiest period of the year, the only way somehow the game will do well if there's gonna buzz around it (not gonna happen in Fall and for a 1 year old port, and I can't see SE putting marketing behind it) and/or SE price it really competitively (LOL!)
I'm expecting the PS4 version to bomb in the US but sell pretty well in Europe. The majority of the fanbase hasn't picked up the game and won't be able to until this holiday. It's basically a new game release. If it's a "GOTY" edition with all the DLC and base game for less than $60, I think it'll do well.
It's not though, no one is gonna be fooled by that. Ok maybe someone with a good logical thinking will believe that, but the majority of mass market won't think the same, it's game that saw ads about it last year. And when you have the hottest products of the year in front of you, why choose RoTTR a game from last year? Sure it's a great game, but it's not a must have game.
And good luck having GOTY edition with less than $60.
The first rumor that revealed its release date and DLC packed in also said it would be $40.
I expect it to sell slightly better than Tomb Raider: DE.
How much dlc does it have? The know guys? They said $40 but for the regular edition.

So then, if we need to get the gap to 100k, the PS4/XB1 either did 234/134 or 235/135
Simply using a base 235k for the PS4 and the pie brings the gap to slightly above 100k and 234k is just slightly below 100k but above 99.5k
Which would you use if the gap is 100k?

But digital sales for Halo 5 were higher than normal for an AAA title.I see we are already back to dismissing sales concerns with "the digital sales are gonna be high." Didn't we just deal with this for Halo 5? How about we learn from that and not retread the same old song AGAIN.

But seriously, SFV will be fine. The worry does give us something to discuss at least.

From those two, I like the 234K/134K, and then for predictions, we'd make it an even 5K at 235K/135K. WIU would be 41K in that scenario, but again to nearest 5K would be 40K still for predictions.
What are the LTD for the last two SF games?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Fighter_IVStreet Fighter IV has sold 3.4 million units.[15] Super Street Fighter IV has sold 1.9 million units,[15] in addition to 1.1 million of the Arcade Edition (full game only).[15] Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition sold an additional 1.2 million copies.[15] Ultra Street Fighter IV has sold 500,000 copies (full game only, without counting PS4 version) by September 30, 2014. This adds up to sales of more than 8.1 million copies in total. Upon its release, the game received universal critical acclaim; receiving universally high scores from many gaming websites and magazines. It has also been listed among the greatest games of its generation.
