300k? try 200k
nah, Bayonetta 2 vs Scalebound is more interesting than Wonderful 101 vs Scalebound
Closer to 200k actually.
Can't wait for the TW101 vs ... uh, whatever their Xbox game was called again graphs.
LMFAO at this! How the hell did he even come to that conclusion? Like what possible logic could there be to that statement?
Just to recap:
1. Activision Blizzard
2. Bethesda
3. Electronic Arts
4. Electronic Arts
5. Take-Two
6. Electronic Arts
7. Electronic Arts
8. Microsoft
9. Ubisoft
10. Ubisoft
Bethesda and Microsoft release titles like this about once every three years. It wouldn't be uncommon for their spots to go to Activision or Take-Two.
I think you mixed Life is Strange with Tomb Raider

XB1 ~1.25m
WIU ~0.25m
Doesn't sound too far fetched, that is assuming that XB1 and WIU aren't too far away from last years results and that WIU isn't being overestimated.
Just to recap:

Isn't Tomb Raider an episodic series from SE? Is there another one?

Oh btw, Sales of PlayStation 4 this November were higher than any November for the PlayStation 2. (In the US)
*snip*
Haha, whoever runs that account is a prophet confirmed!
Wow, if this is indeed true, PS4 did significantly better than I thought in the US. The XB1 seems to be YoY as well, so both did surprisingly well.
In case this is real, congrats PS4.
He's forgetting the 90% digital on Microsoft platforms.
Even though all signs point to PSN having higher digital sales.
Looks like I won this bet. I'll be going on a flight momentarily and won't be able to make an avatar. Can anyone make a Trump one?
I guess the rumor for over a half million for Tomb Raider was from ********.
These are the numbers they estimated. Shrugs.
Don't want to get you in trouble or anything, but I know you have some contacts with SE. What is the internal response from SE regarding TR's sales? Also, is there any exit strategy or clause to get out of the mess, in order to attempt to re-invigorate sales, perhaps releasing other versions sooner, or anything like that?
A year from now, when the PS4 version of Tomb Raider releases, do you think it will crack the top 10?
LMFAO at this! How the hell did he even come to that conclusion? Like what possible logic could there be to that statement?
Hard to feel bad for Square over Tomb Raider. The exclusivity deal was idiotic and then they decided to launch on the same day as Fallout 4. The outcome was obvious.
I wonder what Chobel thinks of the awful PS4 bundle Sony had in November.
That is crazy.
I have to be honest, I thought PS4 sales would start winding down by now.
It feels like either Nintendo, Sony or MS will always get one of these spots but your analysis is not far off. Activision should be stronger next year.
Those FPS games weren't as popular as Halo or nearly as good. Uncharted is pretty damn popular, it's associated with the Sony brand in a big way just like Halo is to Microsoft.
How so?
1.23 and >1.5 million is not closer to 200k.
Stop making numbers up, even if PS4 was a flat 1.5 it would be 270k which is closer to 300k.
200kish gap.
Hitman more like.
What's the gap at between the PS4 and Xbox One in North America, if the PS4 sold 1.5 million and the XBO sold 1.25 million in November?
Install abse has nothing to do with software sales it's common sense, actually think about it for a second, how many FPS games that were best selling ont he PS2 beat Halo 1 or 2?
How many of the POPULAR PS2 platforms beat SMS in sales on the Gamecube which was third?
I haven't really bothered to ask TBH.
Skylanders and Disney Infinity were mentioned in their category going up in sales, so maybe that includes Dimensions? Infinity 3.0 has actually beung selling higher than last year's. But no infi of this NOD yet, outsude the growth. So did Rock band die or something?
Also what happened to Skylanders? Did Disney Infinity Flop even with Starwars? Was Lego Dimensions Reconfirmed as a bad idea? Amiibo increasing or decline yoy?
Also what about Tony Hawk 5? the sales were massive for that at this store i was at this one time recently at some point.
lol I feel like Ubisoft is going to be in trouble. They dont have big franchises like what EA and Activision has now. Their AC is almost dead and other aren't that big seller. I doubt Division, Far Cry or Ghost Recon will sell anywhere near the Destiny, COD, BF, Star Wars, Titanfall etc.
Not sure the state of watch dog 2
