Making the rounds currently with a lot of money spent for sponsored videos and streams from gaming influencers.

Looks like it would be a pretty cool game without the Web3 scam elements to try to create a crypto token economy and "play to earn" carrot model. Alas, they're inextricably tied in from whichever VC funded the game's production.

Notable for being one of the first big Web3 games targeting the Western market. But with confidence in crypto and NFTs at a low, I’m curious to see whether it finds an audience.

Fast forward 3 years and they'll all be at it. Especially the ones that were desperate for NFTs to be a thing.

Here's hoping it all dies a swift death like NFTs did.

To elaborate, any game that has a real market and P2W is never going to be fun for newcomers or people that aren't reckless with their money. It might be a money spinner for a short time, but without being friendly to new players what sort of lifespan can a game really have? It's sacrificing long term to favour the short term, which seems like a huge waste of development.

Played it and I think at its core it has a chance but for me there was too much going on

Upgrading arms and legs cool ideas but needs to be easier or streamlined somehow

Kind of funny jumping off a building and for fall damage my legs fell off for awhile

So I'm already having visions of Chinese "WOW" gold farming with giant networked scammers ruining the in game economy. No thanks.

Looks and runs pretty badly on consoles. Tried it for 10 minutes on the PS5. Have also heard that it's not very well optimised for PC either.
