couple league questions:

anyone know why exactly we are using this camera instead of the default one? i can't see nearly as much with this one. and the default camera in this game is so f'n amazing, I was completely surprised that we aren't using it. also, how do i set the camera the same way in offline play, so i can get used to it?

is there a way to look at ALL of the league settings so I can match them in offline play? sorry for the newb question, this is all new to me. and thanks! :)

Okay.... I did make the change to put the last minute of the game into real time.


I probably can switch the camera to the parametric one as well..... I am leaving the TV broadcast presentation on there as well.

Can anyone comment on the penalties from what they have played? I thought the settings I put them at would make a decent amount of calls, but not too much.......

I love last minute real time, so I hope that sticks around. I'm hoping that next year they add an option for penalty minutes real time as well. As rare as penalties are, it'd be neat to have it so that you really have to work your PK and it's not just 3 clears and penalty over.

I changed my penalty settings similar to yours and noticed a slight difference but nothing big. Maybe go higher on some of the bigger ones like interference?

thanks, i appreciate the camera change. :D

as far as penalties, Juan and I had plenty of them called in our game, especially me. :lol there were a couple of times (1 each I think) where we both only had three skaters in the rink (sorry if this is bad terminology, i'm not really up on hockey).

i wouldn't mind more though, if that's what everyone wants. i really like the advantage//disadvantage having a player out creates and all the strategy that goes with it. so go up all up want on them as far as i'm concerned. :)

not at the same time. what i meant to say was, at one point each of us got down to 3. i think he did in the 1st period, and i did it in the 3rd. and a lot of that is cause i probably don't play correctly [not knowing the game like you guys do] so i was probably just careless with my checks and stuff.

Friday or Saturday morning! I'm going ot Bad Religion tonight, and then tomaroow I'm going to Elton John! :lol

But I may be able to play a game friday morning!

It sucks, I downloaded the Sonic demo and then my XBOX live goes to shit. Every single connection is fine buy my XBOX live won't sign in! I can't even play some of my arcade games!

I'll for sure get that checked out and fixed. I'm actually REALLY pumped.

I would if I could connect to Xbox Live. My ethernet connection tells me it has limited or no connectivity. I'm trying to fix it.

I don't know what is going to happen Sonki if you can't get your xbox live situation fixed in the next couple of days... I don't know if I get an automatic win, or if we both get hosed as the schedule will advance to the next matchups....

That was also really anticlimatic. After all the hassle to get the game going it gets screwed up because of the disc or my 360 (I hope not).

Another thing Osorio and I ran into, I was in 720p and he was in 480p and it wouldn't let us play together. I had to switch out to 480p in order to get the game started.

And no, it's not in the parametric angle yet.

sorry guys... I'm going to be out of commision for the next few days because I had to take down my whole entertainment center because of an outlet it was plugged in to.

I won't be making the change to the camera until I can get back online, which should be in a few days....

I never heard from Sonki, and have been checking often, so I guess I get a big fat goose egg for the first week....

Thats lame....

tried to change the presentation to cinemotion - with commentary (I don't know how to change the camera other then this)

Made Sefskillz and Denogg delegate admins in this league incase I get hosed again...

To make the stats show up on the site, click "edit game stats" then save w/o making any changes...

Unfortunately, I think everyone packed up and headed to NBA2k7 country.... I never see anyone online anymore playing this. I say over half the people in our league were flakes that never had any intensions of showing up.


Hell, I tried... We launched our league before NBA2k7 came out, and look at the thread count difference.....


Well, I'm down to play exhibition games with anyone if they want. Unfortunately I think the league is on the death bed.

I have hope. I am still up for playing. I haven't been playing much of anything lately. I say we just find who we are playing and send them a message via the XBL service. Plus, maybe we should designate a hockey night. Or we should set it up so that people can play their games at their convenience and not as much on a timeline. Either way, I am stiil in. Plus, hockey season is just starting.
