So I finally managed to track down a used copy of Ore No Ryori, the game all your crazy GAFers talk about. Except...when I put it into my modded PS2...I get the dreaded PSX mod-check error message.

Anyone want to help a brother out? I'd like to see what all the fuss is about.

Is Ore No Ryori one of those games which will simply not work if you have a mod-chip installed in your PSX? I've been arguing with myself as to whether I should buy it every time I see it pop up on eBay, but if it won't even work in my chipped PSX I guess the decision's already been made for me.

I'd try the gameshark codes at www.cmgsccc.com. It's under psone imports/'My Cooking'.

Once you get it running, some impressions would be great.

EDIT: Looks like the enable codes are what you want. Direct links won't work so you'll have to find it on the site yourself.

I'm pretty sure it works on most modded PSXs. The fact that you might be trying to load it up on a PS2 could be the problem. How did you mod yours? If its a fliptop its probably not going to work.
