Not interested in playing any of those, although I'm curious about what Kojima managed to create this time around.
I'll watch a YouTube video about it.

Not interested in playing most of them. I'm just gonna keep my eye on Ghost because of the first one, but I'm not even certain I'm gonna buy it.

It looks like it's going to be a pretty strong year for PS5 between DS2 and Ghost of Yotei plus all the multi stuff, MH Wilds, GTA6, Doom, etc...

Feels like forever since we've seen Baby Steps so it's interesting to see it in this sizzle video.

Death Stranding, MonHon, and Pirate Yakuza are day one for me.

In before the grumpy unhappy people of the Internet who cry about everything nowadays.

Edit: too late lol
It's all been a lie. Following indiana Jones threads and YT videos and the comments are pretty peaceful and people seem to love single player story games again.

Nothing amazing, but 2023 just set a high bar for me. I'm ending 2024 feeling the year was kind of forgettable for gaming as a whole, but maybe 2025 will end up being a bit more memorable.

I preferred that to a state of play tbh. Short sharp snappy. Gave me a heads-up on whats coming. I liked it.

Out of those I'm definitely interested in Doom, Death Stranding 2 and maybe Yotei if it's a significant improvement over the first one.

i don't even remember what a 'day 1!' game looks like. monster hunter wilds, maybe? (monster hunter world was. wilds? i'm not so sure)..

Hell is Us and Clair Obscure are the only new games I have my eye on so far. Other than that, I'm only looking forward to old games such as Suikoden Remasters, Lunar Collection and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Yotei, DS2 and Mafia, rest I don't care about

And they missed some of the much better looking games like KCD2 or Clair Obscur

Meh video

Honestly, it's hard to take seriously when people said 2024 was trash as well.
We literally just had a thread about 2025 hype for GTA6, Doom TDA, MG Delta, KCD2, Judas, and they don't display any of them. Doom, I understand it's a Microsoft game whatever but how you don't have GTA6 or Metal Gear on there is just crazy. They had gems to pick but they went for trash 😂.

Of course they're only showing stuff that's already announced.

Even that said... WTF?!? There are some borderline GOTY contenders in there. Are you just bored with gaming?
I expect a few more remasters with current Sony. Where the hell are the new IPs like during the PS3 and PS4 days and don't you dare give me Concord and Fairgames.

what are people whining about, there's loads of good looking stuff in that trailer 🤣, and a wide variety of stuff too.

Even ubisofts racism simulator looks like it'll be good (tho I refuse to pay them full price and will be waiting for a sale)

The PS3 and PS4 days are long behind us. Games now cost multiple hundreds of millions of dollars to make and take more than 4 yrs of dev time. Sony cannot possible match the same output as more than two decades ago when the costs have gone up by an order of magnitude.

Looks like PS Plus Extra monthly lineup 12 months from now, if you have to stoop as low as AC Shadows to promote what is to come the year is gonna be shit

I know people are excited for naughty dogs next game and cory barlogs new game, but the studio i'm looking forward to the most is bluepoint. They're finally making a new game and not remaking anything and i'm excited too see how it turns out.

I'm really starting to second guess my 5090 ambitions... The outlook is seriously bleak for 2025 for me aside from Monster Hunter....

Bluepoint and Housemarque are the two most intriguing studios at Sony now.
