First party games leaving the catalog ? bizarre.

Also, Bethesda led month. GG.

That is bad for the service. But I can see their reasoning.
Nobody will buy their games if they don't leave the service.

It does increase the attractiveness of PS+ Essential by making sure you know that those games will always be available to you as long as you sign up and claim them that month. Unlike GWG, that part of the service still delivers solid titles.

Will definitely try out Kena, this is one of the early Ps5 games that caught my attention but I haven't played yet.

Rest of the stuff is pretty good but nothing of interest for me.

Is PS plus like teh standard version where if you’ve subbed and redeemed a game it remains in your library as long as your subbed?

Spider-man 2 releasing this year

There will be a huge boom in the original's sales, and Sony knows it

You think it's because of that Hug ? I really hope so since I have FF7R, Horizon 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Days gone from PS plus extra to finish.

Damn, I thought that 1st party titles would always be there but apparently I was just uninformed.

PS: FF7R isn't technically a 1st party game but...

PS+ Essential? Yes. Games added at the beginning of the month are games you keep and can play any time as long as you are subbed. But those games can no longer be claimed the following month.

PS+ Extra is where games are added in the middle of the month but can rotate out and not be available no matter what you do.

PS+ Premium is where they add very old games and trials. It also allows you to stream PS3 games.

That is true, the remastered version of SM 2018 never came to PS Plus, only the 30 FPS PS4 version with the old Peter Parker.
The only way to get it on console is to buy Miles Morales Ultimate Edition. I've always thought that was strange. They could probably make good money on a standalone PS5 version if they broke it apart from Miles Morales. Curious to see if they make it available when Spider Man 2 releases.

FUCKING KENA THE WAIT PAID OFF!! I FUCKING KNEW IT!

talking about waiting still waiting for these :

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me
The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes
Death's Door
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge
Streets Of Rage 4
The Pathless

Come on Sony!!

Bojanglez

The Amiga Brotherhood
Kena is great. I still haven't played Doom Eternal, so for me that is a nice add, although I could have played it on Gamepass and never got around to it, feels better to be playing it on PS, make Bethesda realise we appreciate them :messenger_beaming:

It' great for the service if it means they can rotate other games in their place.

A bad month for me as I've already played almost everything, but it will give me time to finish stuff from the previous month that was absolutely insane. Sort of a win?

That's unexpected. I won't be able to take my time with those games, I just bought a PS5, Forbidden West, Returnal, Demon Souls, Ghost of Tsushima all waiting for me to play and I don't even know for how long those games will be available. Also, with them taking down first party titles, the catalog will have a fixed amount of content. I wish I knew the full period that each game will stay on the service. It's pretty shitty to sub a month to play a game that maybe be off the service shortly.

Hopefully third party games are on there for a year, with how they add entire series at once. No one will play that in 6 months.

Full list of games leaving PS+ in May. It's a surprisingly long list. 32 games, some of which dupes between PS4/5.

Download all the Playstation classics before May and you'll digitally own them forever

Nice, I was going to buy Kena the other day, bummer I bought Doom Eternal the other month and didn't play it yet. I tried to play it for 15 mins while waiting for a game to install and it wanted me to make a Bethesda account, yeah no fuck off.

It’s for me a reason to cancel my Extra subscription. I don’t have a lot of time to play games and I don’t like being on a deadline to finish one.
