My final predictions. Georgia will step the fuck up, Ohio will (as usual) let everyone down.

Also, one more time for the easiest money I'll ever make:

Yes,

They took all of their money out of their ground game to do it though.
Interesting thing I heard on Politically Direct last week. Basically said that the RNC knows that this election is over and they are spending their money now to tar and feather Obama in attempts to cripple his ability to lead the country.

If/when they get the legislative and the executive, I can't imagine he'll have a hard time getting what he wants.

His success or failure rides completely on his own shoulders.

Yeah, is the RNC/McCain really outspending the DNC/Obama? I've been seeing a shitload of anti-Obama ads (because you know, McCain's campaign isn't actual about him, it's about Obama,) mailers, and phone calls, and almost none from the DNC/Obama.

Yea, on TV adds they are, not sure about other mediums.

On the other hand,

Oh my, I am loving the read of the 06 midterms thread. Every other post is "What the shit Virginia, how can you elect an ass hat like Allen" and "Clearly Webb was a terrible candidate if he couldn't close this out"

I mean, it's understandable, but still :lol

I'm sort of warming to Mike Huckabee as the Republican nominee now, you know, for the lolz. Of course that could backfire and by some bizarre mishap he could become our next President.

But still it would be funny.

I'm glad I was wrong. Palin was funnier. :lol

Of course he is. It's his last shot.

This COULD affect Pennsylvania. COULD.

Make no doubts it will it effect Pennsylvania. The big question is it a positive or negative effect for what hannity wants.

What the hell is Dreyfus going on about on Huckabee?

He was trying some Carl Sagan for a second, but it came out more like Carl Sagan as "Mr. X."

Mr. X was pseudonym Sagan used in a paper he wrote about advocating smoking weed.

I hope there's a post-election thread. I will need places to fume when Obama picks someone I don't like for a cabinet post!
I imagine for me this will begin if/when Gates and Rubin get picked up for SoD and SoT, respectively.

But I won't let that spoil my mood, dammit!

Exciting stuff for me as a European to be in the US right at this time.

What network will you guys be watching on tuesday? I'm leaning towards CNN, and occasionally switching to FOX for bitter, bitter tears.

Enter my official predictions. I really struggled with this, mostly on whether or Ohio or Virginia will break for Obama.

But hey, 49/50 isn't a bad score either way, right? :)

I really want to be reading world headlines on the 5th like;

I don't think I've ever been as excited over a potential(or actual) Vice President than Joe Biden in my lifetime. He's the perfect mix of comedy of awesome, and will turn C-Span into to a bad ass channel for years to come.

Too bad he won't get the racist rednecks that live there.... I don't miss living there at all. It does amaze me that South Dakota is polling a lead of less than 10 for McCain though. I never thought I would see the day a black democratic political cadidate would be that high in the polls in SD.

I don't think the "How can XXX,XXX people be so dumb?" headline was about the Republican party, but rather Bush.

Still, Obama's election shows we're above the politics of irrelevant, idiotic personal attacks.

I'm still remaining cautiously optimistic, but an Obama presidency seems more real than ever. I just can't comprehend what I will do if McCain somehow pulls off an upset. My mind cannot even fathom what will happen; it just locks up.

1) MSNBC, I want to enjoy this thing with other people that aren't afraid to show their true colors. Can't wait to see a big smile on Keiths, Chris's, and Rachels face. I want to see Olberman or Maddow call it. Also, I'm going to orgasm when Chuck Todd breaks down the numbers....:D

2) CNN, I guess I trust them the most when it comes to the official story. Not that they are really that great, but they at least try to come off as fair (Except for Lou Dobbs). Speaking of old Lou, I will enjoy watching his explanation for what happened. My guess? He blames it on immigrants uplifting Obama to the presidency.

3) Fox....just to see some bitter bitch tears for Hannity, but aside from that, I really dislike the channel (To be honest, even the video quality is annoying to me. Is it just my area, or does Fox News look like it's filmed with low budget cameras or something?)

I never watch the NBC or ABC stuff, so I could care less about them.

I think even the McCain supporters have got to be thinking this. To win, McCain would A. have to steal the election in an obvious manner or B. the American people having been lying a MASSIVE amount over the past 4 months. Either way, a McCain win means something obviously went very wrong.

In 2004, after Bush somehow won again, I was in shellshock for about 3 months. I just couldn't comprehend such a fantastic display of stupid; the country was, in fact, fooled again. Hopefully those Bush voters in 2004 have learned their lesson.

That they can't get fooled again!

went to cedar point yesterday, and in the line for the mean streak some loudmouthed asshole was talking with people around him about how obama is not ready to be president and he will take the country under and yada yada, usual no brained chatter. When we got on the coaster he and a few other people on the back of our train start chanting "NOBAMA! NOBAMA!" So then some others on the platform get into it and start chanting the same. The operators told people to be quiet and that it's a "family park." I still don't get that part. Anyway, some people were pissed and yelling out when he told them to be quiet. When the ride was over we had to sit there on the coaster for 10-15 minutes while they were "handling a situation." I asked the ride attendant what happened and she said the police had to come in to talk to and sort out a situation with people saying some things and that it's a family park. I'll be glad when this election is over. Oh and Ohio going red?

I just got back from my legal observer training.

The Obama campaign will have a total of over 1,500 lawyers and law students at various polling places in Missouri on Tuesday.
