It looks like it has been shot entirely from the perspective of the entity, it could be interesting. Although, the last few Soderbergh films have let me down, I still very much like he's work.
Most of the shots and camera movement imply it, for example the wide angle shots where we can see the environment/room as a scene is taking place. We’ve almost seen the entire layout of the house from the trailer alone. Then you’ve got shots like the one creeping slowly behind the girl walking up the stairs, and ones where it is leaning over the character as if the entity was standing over them. The one that really gives it away is the side shot of Lucy Liu as she quickly turns her head to the left and the camera moves away from her - this scene captures the feeling of something being present in the room/staring at Lucy Liu.

Maybe. But maybe that was the entity manifesting it's presence. Perhaps the shaky came effect is used to represent the moments of it interacting with the characters? Like when it was following the guy up the stairs, the camera is shaking a lot. What throws me off is the part where the table is shaking and the cup falls off, that felt like an actual earthquake.
