Raccoon City or Silent Hill - You must go to one of them, which do you choose and why?

You're driving down a desolate highway, the road is unfamiliar and you do not know where it leads. You come to this cross-road.

What do you do, hotshot?

I am man of decency. I will not have any twisted worlds when stepping into Silent Hill.

Like my man said above, all I shall see should be honry nurses.

I'm not sure I'd want to see what the town of Silent Hill would throw at me, so Raccoon City. Zombies aren't sentient so, unless there was a tyrant or lickers around, I'd take my chances with being able to evade danger over an all-knowing otherworldly presence. Worse comes to worse, at least it would end quickly when Raccoon City ultimately gets blown up.

Isn't Raccoon City just a decimated wasteland after getting the Return of the Living Dead treatment? =P

Well even if it still stood, better chance of making it through Silent Hill.

Easily Raccoon City cause it's a much cooler place and less disturbing. Easier to get used to it compared to the more supernatural stuff from Silent Hill. Although I would probably die quicker in Raccoon City if I run into the wrong things but at the same time it's also easier to prep up in the right situation.

Silent Hill would be more disturbing but easier to survive through. Raccoon City is overall more dangerous, chaotic, diverse, interesting, and cooler so I'll choose that place either way.

One thing folks saying SH are neglecting is that it's more super-natural, once you go in, you're only coming out if the supernatural forces that govern the town allow it.

Raccoon City is at least a tangible place, find a car or something and start driving towards the exit of the town, as long as there's no massive obstructions, you can safely make it out.

I will always go to Silent Hill. All I need is just to cover the nurses' faces with a bag and fuck them. free too. life can't get any better than this.

Raccoon City, no doubt. There, you’re dealing with just monsters. Silent Hill is all sorts of crazy fucked up shit going on there.

The real question is, as a horny teenager where would you rather spend your weekend, Elm Street, or Crystal Lake?

Raccoon City requires a lot of physical prowess to survive, while Silent Hill requires mental. Even though Silent Hill would be scarier, your chances of survival are technically better.

None of you are Leon S. Kennedy, you wouldn’t last 10 seconds against a Licker or any other B.O.W. You’re not getting in a car and simply driving out either because you’re not accounting for roadblocks at every turn. Your fat ass is walking out. Either in the zombie infested streets, or in the sewers which is filled with god knows what. Don’t forget about Zombie Dogs and Crows either. Raccoon City was all kinds of fucked.

Silent Hill for the nurses and because it's actually the hero of the story and makes you face your fears and guilt. Shapes you as a person and a better man when you come out of it.

Nah. Raccoon, obviously. Zombies are more retarded and even controller players can pass through it easier with their retarded turning/aiming speeds and weapon wheels.

From I can understand Silent Hill responds to your guilt and your dark pasts but if you have none of that you are mostly safe.

Raccoon City, the danger is very much real and you are not just dealing with typical Zombies but also other monsters were created with that virus.

Raccoon City, because it's based in reality (vaguely) while Silent Hill runs on magic rules that I don't want to be subject to.

Raccoon City also is literally just a city... like... you can walk in and out without issue. and zombies are literally the easiest monsters to fight/avoid (which is why I always felt zombie based apocalypse scenarios ala The Walking Dead are utter nonsense)

Silent Hill, being subject to magic supernatural bullshittery, could just bar you from leaving.

Definitely silent hill, I'd much rather confront what the town creates out of my mind then zombies, mutated animals, bows, and an impending nuclear strike.
I'd never last in raccoon city

Raccoon city without a doubt. I'm not sure if I'll survive but I think my chances are way higher no matter how many zombies are in the city. Going against my own mind and fears... that can backfire really fast.

Being in Raccoon City also increases the likelihood of becoming a hentai girl.

Silent Hill is the obvious answer. Raccoon City you are fucked. Silent Hill you may not even see anything if you haven't murdered anyone or aren't feeling incredible guilt. Hell, if you have no business there you can just leave.

Raccoon City because the threat follows physical laws of the universe, which you can rationally fight against.

Silent Hill will break reality and malevolently cater itself to mess with you, personally.

Silent Hill doesn't have crazy T-virus/Type 4 Plaga mutants (humans, animals, supernatural) that have insane movements and speed. I'd go with that.

I feel I could survive SH with a steel pipe assuming I can avoid things like Pyramid Head. Which he is pretty slow moving anyways. Plus if you leave the SH, you're fine. RE's world on the other hand is completely fucked.

Also once bitten or infected in RE, chances are you're done for.

I feel like my chances of survival might be higher in silent hill but the more I think about it the more unsure I get.

Silent Hill. Ain't nothin there I couldn't take other than Pyramid Head, and I can outrun him. I couldn't take anything in Raccoon City, so I gotta hedge my bets.

Also.....it bears mentioning again.....those nurses though.....I can fix them.

If you're fat then pick Silent Hill, but if you're physically in top condition but afraid of ghost then Racoon City for sure.

One thing to consider is that surviving Raccoon City would be, and let's be honest here, sheer luck. Maybe you found a group of people to help you get out, maybe you happen to find an underground train that still works. Realistically speaking none of us are grabbing a gun and taking on Lickers, Tyrants, Giant Sewer Alligators, and whatever the fuck else. The best strategy is to look for an escape route and hope for the best.

Silent Hill on the other hand, the only way to escape is to confront your inner demons and to test your mental will to it's limits. Surviving Raccoon City means you were lucky bastard. But surviving Silent Hill could potentially mean you'd come out of it as a much stronger person.

If you're fat then pick Silent Hill, but if you're physically in top condition but afraid of ghost then Racoon City for sure.

The monsters you dealing with in Silent Hill might be entirely different than James, Pryamid Head is there because of James and no one else.

Exactly. Part of James's guilt was his sexual frustration due to Mary being sick for so long. I'm sure you know but for those who don't, this is why Maria looked like a hotter version of Mary, why there were lewd looking nurses at the Hospital, and why the Mannequins were were just female limps shambling around.

Silent Hill. Best case scenario, scenic lakeside town with a great amusement park and hotel. Worst case scenario, I exorcise some personal demons that I've been repressing.

So, y'know, it's a win win.
