Seems like it could be a good move for Sony both financially and to get more MAUs if they released their GAAS games on Gamepass. Get MS money and an increased player base.

They're already on PC so why not. Helldivers 2 PC numbers are great.Sure, why not.
Xbox isn’t a threat anymore
Nintendo is going to be a serious competitor to Sony going forward, so releasing in Switch would be dumb.Switch maybe, Xbox no. Market's too small.
You need a MicroSoft account for some of their games, why would it be any different?I don't think Microsoft would allow a Playstation account requirement on their platforms.
Because they want to push their own digital platform? You need a MicroSoft account for some of their games, why would it be any different?
Phil better stop port begging then.Because they want to push their own digital platform?
What? I don't know what your point isPhil better stop port begging then.
He's port begging for Helldivers II. PSN was a requirement. What? I don't know what your point is
He is? Weird. He's port begging for Helldivers II. PSN was a requirement.
He is? Weird.
Edit: Do Xbox have policies that allow them to make money off of microtransactions/DLCs from games? If so, it would make sense, then.
Nintendo are going to stay in their own lane as per usual. Not saying they aren't a threat but they seem unlikely to be shifting their first-party efforts towards similar content to Sonys, its less of an issue than Xbox.Nintendo is going to be a serious competitor to Sony going forward, so releasing in Switch would be dumb.
In a way yes, but people could opt for PC/Switch combo, so Sony can't get comfy with Xbox gone, as they release games on PC as well.Nintendo are going to stay in their own lane as per usual. Bottom line is that the demographic for Switch is a better fit, especially for GAAS. Whereas MS are on their way to Platform as a service.
