Still waiting on my friend downstairs to move out. In the meantime I made some changes with the current setup in case it takes him another couple years
I bought a new desk after over 15 years with the old corner unit. It was a fine desk but it took up a lot of space and partially blocked the door heading out to the back yard. I replaced it with a simple steel framed desk. It's a huge improvement as the old desk sat too low, was a pain to clean behind, had little leg room and wasted a lot of space. I also bought a second identical desk to put in the space beside it where I used to keep a TV stand full of odds and ends. It's now where I work on model kits. This freed up a ton of space in the room as I used to build models on a table behind my desk.

I didn't actually plan this, but the PC fits under the desk with about a millimeter to spare. I put casters on the case so I could roll it out for cleaning and maintenance and assumed I would have to switch back to the original feet but it rolls out just fine. Being eternally cheap I repurposed parts of the old desk which doesn't look terrible. Eventually I'll phase those remaining parts out with properly fitting file cabinets. I keep my Switch over here and my Elite controllers which I use on the PC. I might ditch the small triple shelves since nothing really fits in them well to make room for a second panel. I'll also likely ditch the old Samsung BR player I use as a sound system for the PC in favor of something much simpler. It's always a work in progress.
The other desk is for my other hobby. With this setup I actually have more work space, more storage and room for another row of file racks which will be nice when I work on bigger kits. The desks are deep enough that I was able to store my entire kit backlog under the desk and still have leg room which freed up even more space elsewhere. The airbrush cart is now where my water cooler used to be which is handy since I paint outside on the deck when it's not -40C out. My model collection takes up another entire room.
My PC is identical to last year as I haven't had any reason to upgrade anything on it. 2080ti/10600K with lots of storage. It's a giant TT tower on casters with a basement compartment for the PSU and drive racks. It runs 4 200mm fans, 4 140mm fans and an externally mounted radiator for the GPU.

Not much changed here, I mostly just rearranged things on my shelves for now and am still populating them. Almost every cool thing in this shot actually belongs to my brother and anything cool he doesn't own are things I got from him. He has a very comprehensive collection of Nintendo games stored in a different room.
From top left the Analogue Mega SG w/ Mega SD, Analogue NT Mini V2 (he also has a V1), HDMI modded N64 w/ Everdrive, Analogue SuperNT w/FXPak Pro, Sega Saturn (will be modded soon), Xbone, HDMI/MODE modded Dreamcast, PS3, WiiU. He also has a pretty mint Playstation in the box which will also be getting mods soon. These consoles all have every possible ROM installed on them. His physical game collection is pretty all-encompassing but it's so much easier to select any SNES game ever released (and some never released) from a list. We've recently been tearing through just about every co-op game on the 16-bit consoles.
