We're sharing some new video commentary from Bloober Team's SILENT HILL 2 development staff. Hear from the developers about the process of recreating the game's main character, James Sunderland.

Yeah after playing the remake for many hours I am starting to like Bloober Team

They have been redeemed in my eyes. Hopefully they continue making great games

Proper gangsters are our boys at Bloober.
Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, Silent Hill - they're top dogs on the scene.

This kind of videos of behind the scenes are great, it's cool to watch the devs have love for a game I love and enjoy so much. I'm dying to play the game, but I have a lot of work to do.

Bloober should remake metal gear 1 and metal gear 2 solid snake with david hayter writing the script and starring in it

Wouldn't be surprised if the MGS Delta team move straight onto remaking the 1999 original immediately after wrapping up Delta.

I imagine it'll cost more due to the old animations not aging as well, but the old voice acting is still great in MGS1.

They would have to redesign the whole game and shadow Moses. If they didn't We would end up with a prettier twin snakes with boring gameplay.

People tried to hate on the initial James design and reveal, but man, they could not have picked a more perfect actor for the remake. The nuances in his expressions and tone is precisely how you felt while playing the original in your mind way back when it was released.

Happy to see fellow neogaffers starting to let go of irrational hate for Bloober, just like I'm starting to let go of my irrational hate for Konami.

Silent Hill 2 is nature's balm.

But they did change James after the 1st reveal though. James in reveal looked like he could break down in tears at any moment while in later trailers they dialed that back. :messenger_winking_tongue:
