thanks for the info on the xi sizing. i stopped by footlocker during lunch to get a raffle ticket for a 10.5, but i'll probably still be waking up early to hit up eastbay/finishline and finally nike.com.

I went by the foot locker near me, in a mall, they said they aren't doing any of the ticket stuff, first come, first serve only. I want the shoes, but not trying to spend the night at the mall.

oh yeah, all the local foot lockers here do raffles, i just stopped by one because it's close to my office. i'd rather try my luck online than camp; i would be beyond salty if i ever camped out got stopped at the door just as the last pair is sold.

Got 4 raffle tickets from foot locker. Not sure they bought the fact that my 69 year old dad was into the shoes, but whatever. Tomorrow morning I'll go to the mall again because finish line hands out tickets that are first come first serve and they are guaranteed tickets, not raffles.

Then I also have a guy that will hopefully be holding a pair for me, then I'm going to try online, and whatever else I might luck out with at the other store in the mall.

The reality is I'll probably post here on Saturday at 10:30 am saying I got zero pairs.

The mall this morning was a total shit show. Tickets got handed out at like 8:00, so by the time I got there there was still like 70 people waiting outside for some reason, despite the tickets being gone. Next up is testing my raffle luck.

Soul Playa, personally I like the top pair since they're the faux BRED 1s. Classic color way with AJ 1 mid styling.

Now if you're after comfort, Jordan's are probably not the best choice, IMO.

A new HoH opened in Tampa. I took a vacation day to go there this morning. The only thing I grabbed was a pair of Baron 1s. But they only had it a half size up. Oh well onto the XI lows.

I'd prefer to sleep in but I'll probably do the store thing.

I absolutely loved the write-up on these. At first I thought the shoe looked pretty cool, but then the write-up on the details made me want it. The tsinela sole was the topper in me wanting these so very badly.

Would love to see a release here in the US if they ever decide to do one.

There are now three types of Kobe releases.

Insanely low production runs like the Preludes, Masterpiece 9, NRG 9, etc.

Act now or poof like the Details 9, Maestro 9, Easter 8s, Purple Gradient 8s, Venice Beach 8s, etc.

Or they're just sitting like the Easter 9, numerous 8s and 7s.

Last years PPs were a GR, category 3. Those look like the first category.

Pretty much what I was assuming anyways...but it'd be a nice surprise if it did get released here elsewhere.

The Kobe 8 Sparks was an Asian exclusive. Never released here and sells around $500.

Or we could get a Kobe 9 HTM or Masterpiece situation.

Nike is all about generating buzz mainly to push the sales of their GRs and possibly attract sales to other Nike shoes in store.

Anyways, more Concord Hype. Shoe of the month? I've heard people say the Carmines are the top JB release. Course we have a couple of 2s, Futures and a 5lab3 thrown in there.

I took a look at the Sparks, nice but doesn't grab me at all. I did like the 9 HTMs from the Milan event, but I doubt I'd ever try to get them anyways.

Going to try my luck for the Burgers later today.

I'm trying to DELETE the OOS size (UK 8) and getting timed out. Currently I have a UK 7.5 in my cart... that just went OOS too.

Hmm... Guess I can bite on the other Shadow 5000s now or get some clothes off the site.

call it beginners luck, but i got a call from foot locker saying they'll have a pair of concord lows for me tomorrow. i don't even know what my odds were, but that was my first time picking up a raffle ticket lol

Copped the Concords! Camped from 1.30am for an 8am release. Longest I've ever camped prior was an hour 1/2 for the Green Glow IV's. Don't know how people do it every week (and for hours longer), I was so drained by the end of it.

Was gonna try for the Burgers, but just so happened to release online the same time the FL doors opened.

Oh well... On to the Carmines.

Ah so jelly but congrats! I'm not to hopeful as I'll be in class for the 8am online sales and I'm not exactly counting on my girl to click around enough. Maybe the 10am Nike release.. We'll see I guess

What say you, GAF? I fell in love with the BA when it first dropped but I've been satisfied with the Roshes I have that serve as strict off-board chillers. The only problem with the top one I see is since they're suede I might be tempted to skate them (as well as being a dirt magnet). Plus I'm not really down with the whole swoosh buying out skateboarding thing but hey it's Brian fucking Anderson so I'm backing it.

Was trying at Champs site while waiting for finish line to let me through. Had 2 champs tabs open, one trying for 10 and another 10.5. Then somehow they both got in my cart. didn't want to remove one in case it screwed things up, so I made it all the way through checkout with two pairs and got my confirmation. Hopefully they don't cancel my order since it was 1 per customer. I didn't really do it on purpose.

edit: @anthony - theyre in the cart and you've got the checkout timer? Mine started at 12 minutes, counted down, went back up to 7, then went to 3, then to 1, then I got through.

Mine was doing that, and that's when I opened another tab and tried for a different size. Then my cart popped up with both pairs.

Also got into finish line for my buddy, and currently waiting for my turn at NDS.

It's times like these I'm glad I have little interest in the 11's. However since I'm awake and at work I'm still trying just to see what happens. I think something is wrong with me. Currently in line at ndc.
