Sony's Gamescom press conference will take place on Tuesday, August 12 at 7:00pm local time (6:00pm UK time), the platform holder has confirmed.

While there aren't any hints at what to expect from the show, Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has previously suggested that there could be some new games revealed during Sony's press conference, teasing last month that Sony still had "some things for GamesCom [and] TGS as well."

That would actually be a really good show, thus it won't happen. The thing about these industry events is that I have NEVER felt fulfilled by them. They never seem to have the one thing I most want to see (not talking about TLG) or the one thing that I expect to be there for sure that will make the whole show worth it even if nothing new exciting is announced. I really want to see GG new ip and ratchet & clank redux.
