that's funny

but im looking for a more serious answer

Honestly, Green Lanterns are harder to argue about. The ring can make what the user wants through their willpower. Neither Hal or John are novices at this point so the fight should go either way.

Other DC heroes it’s sometimes more clear. Wally West did eventually become faster than Barry Allen could (though this might have been retconned later on). Cassandra Cain was the most effective fighter of the Batgirls (and possibly the Batfamily save Batman himself) due to being raised by birth as an assassin plus having unparalleled reading of body language as her father never spoke to her so he could raise her to rely entirely on reading one’s body movements. Supergirl was initially seemingly more powerful than Superman but that’s because she did not at first care about holding her power back to avoid collateral damage and such while Superman did, once she started behaving more like him in fighting it was clear he was more powerful. But Green Lanterns? If they’ve both been Lanterns for a long time, it’s a crap shoot on who would win.

I grew up with the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited so have to give it to John. One of the animated movies have John win against Hal
too while Hal had multiple rings although he was corrupted. Not a great movie though.

Well we all know whos going to be stronger in the new HBO DC show and it wont be the white guy. :)

Let’s see if there have been prior instances in the last DC movie verse of a DC character who is white or at least not black being stronger than one who is black, shall we?

-Superman held back Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg (honestly, this is due to nerfing, in the comics WW is at roughly 80% of Superman’s strength)
-Aquaman defeats Black Manta in both movies
-Shazam/Billy is the strongest of the Shazam family which includes a black girl/woman
-Black Adam is stronger than Hawkman

And what’s our first major new DCU project? Superman. And while Mr. Terrific is highly intelligent and a badass, ain’t no way a rational person will think he’s going to be portrayed as stronger than SUPERMAN, LOL.

Seriously, do we need this kind of salt in every discussion, especially when it doesn’t apply to the franchise that’s being discussed? For fucks sake.

They're fractious activists that fabricate any excuse to self-justify a picket. They don't care about the reality, they want to suppress.

You always seem triggered when it comes to superheroes. If anyone is being toxic here over a small quip, it's your wall of text lmao.
