Spider-Man: No Way Home - New Spidey suit seems to be a Doctor Strange crossover

Hot Toys has unveiled a brand new figure for Spider-Man: No Way Home showcasing one of the new suits that will appear in the movie.

The images of the collectible figure were posted on Instagram, spinning a web of mystery and intrigue for fans of the franchise. Spider-Man's new black and gold suit features detailed web patterns, as well as a selection of highly detailed accessories, including "a gauntlet" and "mystic spider-web effects," as per the description.

One of the images appears to show a glowing blue substance being projected from the gold gauntlet on the figure's wrist, with a similar blue disc emerging on the suit's chest. These mystical elements may be hinting that the web-slinger will be wielding and unleashing magic akin to Doctor Strange in the upcoming sequel.

Spider-Man's new costumes have been on full display lately in the form of Funkos Spider-Man, LEGOs, and Spider-Man action figures. An image of a Spidey Funko Pop, known as the Integrated Suit, featured what appeared to be some sort of sorcerer's device that Tom Holland's Spider-Man might be in possession of in the next film.

Spider-Man: No Way Home has been confirmed to be connected to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, giving way to plenty of speculation on how or if we'll get glimpses of the Spider-Verse. With these new Spiderman costumes, it's still possible we'll see Tobey McGuire wall-crawling alongside Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland on December 17.

The movie's casting line-up, confirmed or otherwise, has been teasing a live-action Spider-Verse/multiverse crossover of epic proportions, which could be intertwined with later events in the MCU. Read our theories about which characters and worlds may appear, and find out how it could open the door for Holland to swing between the MCU and the SPUMC.

This is cool but they need to release the official trailer already.

it’s very odd that they were allowed to unveil and announce this toy even before a trailer release. Of course a trailer is imminent, but this should’ve been announce after, not before.

Hopefully it means the official trailer will be dropping soon.

Speaking of Spider-Man suits, Tobey Maguire always had the best looking one, so if he is coming back in No Way Home it will be very cool to see again.

I hope we get to see a version of Tobey's Spider-Man in the future, with MJ gone and his life about to end

Ok but will they allow him to have his own identity or is it another chapter in the adventures of you Tony Stark the second with another suit left to him by Tony Stark which he will then use to fight someone who turned evil because they were angry at Tony Stark ?

He did make his own suit in Far From Home.

From what i read they show up half way and then are co-stars will Holland. Not sure if credible though

Even that is too much in my mind. Although, I think it would be an amazing scene if they all talked about the death of Uncle Ben, the subject has never been brought up in the MCU and it would be nice for it to finally happen, maybe help Peter become his own person.

For whatever reason they have zero faith in Holland to carry the films on his own.

he seems fine by me, at least Tom looking better as Peter than lanky Garfield who has a catty look

i also like more crossovers in mcu rather than standalone, makes the universe more organic.

What are the chances we’ll maybe see a X-men cameo in one of these upcoming films? Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine popping up would be interesting.

Am I the only one that LIKES the fact we got a unique Peter Parker instead of a repeat of the same old? We had that, several times, its cool getting something different and tied in.

Problem is he isn't that unique as he is mostly just a hodgepodge of influences. And considering Garfield was really the only serious attempt at putting something resembling the character on the big screen it wasn't really played out to me.

Teenage spider-man has been extremely over-exposed as of late so it still feels like retreading old, and boring, ground anyway.

With tech left behind by Tony Stark, as AC/DC plays in the background and happy gives him a "he reminds me of Tony" look.

Yeah, really setting his own identity there

LOL
The thing is, the MCU tries to be more "grounded" compared to the other Spidey films. So if he made his own suit again it will be like his other home made suit. He doesn't have the money or resources to make a suit like in Raimi's or Amazing Spidey.
I'm find with him using someone else's tech to make a suit, but yeah, maybe tune down the rock music.

I always laugh at the people who complain about the MCU Spidey who can't explain how Raimi's could make a suit that probably cost more than he would've won at the wrestling match.

In universe, who's going to be mad enough at a high school kid without his connection to Tony Stark, enough to want to kill him?

Tom Holland fucking kills it as Peter, let alone Spiderman.

Hype Train conductor. Works harder than it steams.
He is my least favorite spiderman.
Well based on current MCU affairs, this maybe his last.
Wonder if a new Spidy will pop up or one of the older ones will continue in the MCU for a while.
The rumour that Tobey will end up in Venom's universe is interesting 🤔

I would love to see that. I want Spiderman in Venom. I just don't know how it would be in this. They made him the hero. It would be interesting. I grew up on Spiderman comics. These new ones just don't cut it. Also I prefer a older Spiderman. Not old but not a kid.

I don't think there's anything wrong with Tom's Spidy, the movies are just shit.
And he hasn't really suffered like the other Spider-Men, and that's what really made Peter.
Something that's lacking in the new Spider-Man
