GT7 hasn’t reached PS+ yet and Astrobot is still at least 12 months away.
I hope PE remake is the main highlight of the show. But I'm still hoping for Bend and Bluepoint exclusive, Japan studio exclusives, Wolverine, Bloodborne remake or sequel, Judas, and Stellar Blade big DLC expansion.

Not good. We really have to lower our expectations. I already saw some leaks and its mostly boring, hellblade 2, some MS xbox games we already expected to come out for ps5, sonic racing, some china games and one of sony's gaas game, stellar blade pc release date and trailer, and the ps5 bundle with Astrobot. Parasite eve remake, and bloodborne remake, are just copium and possibly no Wolverine trailer and no GOW, no Re9, and surely no GTA 6. DS2 and MGS3 remake are not surprises because we already expected those games to show up.
Sadly lets expect that this will be the worse SOP, but I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah keep expectations low. There may be 1 or 2 good things but that's it. I expect people will come out hugely disappointed. Remember sony first party are not in a good state right now because of the botched live service push.

The last rumor I saw was that GT7 was not happening for PC. Astrobot is too new and all the licensed characters from other companies makes me think you won't see it on PC, you know how weird Japan is with worries around modding.
I think you'll see more Stellar Blade PC info though.

The events are not about the number of games, but rather solely about exciting and entertaining gamers. When I read the comments over the last few years here and on YouTube, it is clear that the viewers are pissed off. The events are, to put it mildly, just crap, although there are sometimes interesting announcements here and there.

I doubt it is happening but it would be interesting if they announce a new Pro sku with a built-in disc drive, and/or have been working to get PSSR working on OG PS5 - maybe a game like Bloodborne - at a much lower level to get every PS5 gamer into the PSSR discussion to put the superior experience on Pro back on everyone's radar.

Wolverine will be a good game, that's for sure; but judging by the leaked footage, it is just Spider-Man with Wolverine skin. It will be very similar in many ways. I believe Insomniac will manage to deliver good moments and characters, which will make it a good game, but thinking about Wolverine, I'd had preferred if it was like God of War at most (linear but open-ended), with more restricted movement, and combat similar to Ninja Gaiden.

Look, I worship Sony's Playstation hardware - it's fucking incredible and I'm eating all the shit they put out, including shit like earbuds. But their first-party games this gen? Abysmal with a few AA exceptions. I have zero clue where people's optimism comes from.
That Greek God of War Saga better be full remakes with the new camera, not some half-assed ports. And Yotei? After seeing what Cyberpunk and KCD2 did with living cities, I won't settle for another empty Ubisoft clone. Let's be real - Bloodborne isn't coming, and if it does, it'll be a lazy 30FPS job. Death Stranding 2 is still probably ages away, Intergalactic is a pipe dream, and Wolverine's going through development hell and is apparently a mess - from fucking Insomniac of all studios! And don't get me started on these pointless PS4 remasters like Days Gone. Just move on already.
They completely dropped the ball by chasing GAAS dreams that went nowhere. What a waste of a generation...

Crazy thought, maybe if your expectations were actually realistic based on track-record and format you might not be constantly disappointed.
I'm sorry, but Sony has been using this format for a month shy of 6 years at this point. If the penny hasn't dropped by now as to how to manage expectations then its on you.
