No DLC expansion of sidestory and new locations and boss, end unlocking hidden areas, is still a sad news for stellar blade fans

A bit sad there is no dlc. Costumes are great and them giving them away for free is generous but considering there are like around 100 at this point, it's difficult to get excited for costumes or possible modded outfits. Will likely still buy the game again on pc just to support the devs.

It's a story DLC with new bosses, if I heard correctly.

Nobody knows. They just bought it to wank over.

Already a few bad takes in this thread. You take the crown. Congrats.

The only game that has me seriously thinking of getting a Gaming PC.:messenger_grinning_sweat:

Even if I'm broke right now.

This is our final confirmation that Stellar Blade is, indeed, a SIE game.
I still need to try Nikke.

I think PC will have extra bosses or playable characters like Mann. But the nikke dlc, is I think just costume, no new locations or sidestory and no new enemies. i will still get it for ps5, but i hope they added new locations and sidestory.

Sony publishing too. Do they own the IP?
I think ShiftUp owns the IP, but Sony has publishing rights.
Shift Up owns the IP, but Sony owns the game. After this and other examples like Sunset Overdrive, hopefully people realize that it's not as simple as a matter of IP ownership.
They better not pull that "requires a PSN account durr hurr" garbage.
Didn't they say that this was going to stop?

Disappointed. One year after release and all they did was to release costumes and cosmetics.
I think they mentioned working on a sequel and some "angels" game or something, so considering the size of the studio, they're busy.

Entered Steam wishlist on Number 2. Trails of Daybreak 2 gonna be released on 14 February and I'll buy it quickly.

So after that date Stellar Blade will be Namba Van :messenger_sunglasses: Can't wait the release.

At least they're free (besides the NieR collab). They could've easily milked this game like Team Ninja does with DOA.

Anyway... this will be a great birthday present to me. Only a Switch 2 release in June would make me happier.

Im seeing a new area in the trailer.

Im guessing this is also the time they plan to do the Nikke X Stellar Blade collab in Nikke.

I also saw it, the grassy area, but I m not sure, I think that's from the game Nikke. I will be happy too see new locations and levels and new sidestory. I like the new costumes but I hope for more content in the dlc.

Thers no footage from Nikke in the trailer cuz Nikke cutscenes are 2D. And yes that area is related to a character from Nikke. They also anounced a new boss in the State of Play so my guess is that might be a small area, maybe arena like, where we fight the new boss.

Yes, I reviewed the view again. Looks like a new area. Looks impressive I hope its as big as
Eidos 9
or
Spire 4
. And I hope we can get a new sidestory. Looks like Mann will have a bigger role in the DLC. But will he be a playable character or a boss? And are there more new characters? That is what we need to find out.

Unless they anounce an expansion i wont count with any big levels. In the State of Play they dont mentioned any levels, so if thats a new area im betting its gonna be just a small location for a boss fight.

Was this game any good apart from the ass and boobs?

Unfortunately, a lot of the culture warrior talk over the main character, which was encouraged by the devs by the way, superseded what was an otherwise pretty solid game. Combat and OST were top notch. Visuals were decent for the budget.

The story, exploration, characters and voice acting however, were dreadful.

I both agree and disagree :

- IMO, it's one of the cleanest, nicest looking games of this gen, on Pro especially looks fuxking pristine.

- Exploration was also really nice, not too big nor too small levels.

- The music...I never "got it", too saccharine, too oooooh ahhhhh hyeahhhhh Korean pop bullshit - a couple of Rock-ish songs during boss battles suited the game well though.

Agree with the rest 😁

All in all, a really enjoyable action adventure game that unfortunately, fell prey to the usual online BS due to the T&A like you also mentioned.
Personally, some of the best 70 Eurodoallars I spent last year, I really enjoyed it

Eh, I thought the exploration and voice acting was fine. The desolate world had an atmosphere to it.

I agree with the rest though. Solid 8/10 game highlighted by great combat and music.

Definitely wishlisting this as well as Tides of Annihilation, the two best thing on this show.

It seems we're fighting that Cyborg Samurai bodyguard which is nice cause always thought there should be more of him.
