Best part of any movie he was in was Raul Julia. He was an incredible actor. You can't help but be glued to the screen when he is on it.Best part of that movie was Raul Julia

Your experience echoes mine, but i never watched it again after release. I like Raul, Van Damme, and campiness so i should check it out.I Remember when it first came out, being disappointment (It was not what i though a Street Fighter movie would be like/about) and liked the Animated move like 100 times better. But over the years I've reflected on Street Fighter the Movie and have come to really like what it is, at parts its almost a satire/parody movie, lots of finny little details. Raul Julia is really good in the move as well. (Own the film on Blu-ray.. but have not been brave enough to have the family sit down and watch it yet)
Made a great 'bad' videogame as well. This is my favourite "bad movie". So bad, that it becomes very entertaining.
But it also has a lot going for it.
Raul Julia is awesome. He steals all the scenes he is in.
Andrew Bryniarski is an amazing Zangief. And he has really good comedic timing and delivery.
Van Damme shit faced in cocaine is a marvel to behold.
Ming-Na Wen is pretty good as Chung Li. Along side with Killie Minogue, they make one very sexy duo.
"Sweet kiss, beautiful lovemaking. It would be abnormal not to have had an affair, she's so beautiful and she was there in front of me every day with a beautiful smile, simpatico, so charming, she wasn't acting like a big star. I knew Thailand very well, so I showed her my Thailand. She's a great lady."
Not in looksbut for me it was Tuesday...
LOL..
He got Chun-Li there.
