Played the open beta from a couple of weeks back. Didn't love it.

Pretty mediocre gameplay so I guess we'll see how much power waifus have.
Same...
I tried to love the game, played the CBT and OBT, but it just didnt click with me...

On the other hand, I am pretty hyped for Mecha Break.
The CBT on PC was awesome

If either of you played the demo to Sandland, how would it compare in gameplay feel?

Sandland felt fun enough to play but I could feel the lower budget, if that makes sense.

Pretty different games IMO.

Sandland was a PvE focused game where you killed tons of low powered AI enemies. Synduality is an Extraction Shooter where you grab resources and try to extract without other players killing you.

In terms of gameplay feel? Sandland was definitely faster paced, and more free. Synduality felt claustrophobic and slow/janky to me.

Namco PvE budget anime games always have a sort of gameplay feel to them that is very...not sure how to put it, everything-lite. Like in Sandland, his basic attack outside of the Tank was X,X,X, or X,X,X,X. Not much difference in animation nor were there many upgrades to it after 30 hours in when I was playing the full game. It felt very PS2 B-tier in a bargain bin "could be fun" kind of way.

I'm trying to see if this feels like that to you or if it feels even worse than that. Because I could deal with the former on a sale price.
