TGS 2018 |OT|

Some lineups by major companies for the TGS 2018 show.
For those who didn't know by now, Tokyo Game Show is a major trade show (much like E3 and Gamescom) that focuses on games targeting the Japanese market.
TGS 2018 runs from September 20 to September 23.

Will appreciate help for this topic, since I might not be available to update it often, but I figured this is better than nothing.

Wow, Left Alive actually still exists. I was looking forward to hearing new info on this game and then nothing for a full year since the first trailer, and they still say its releasing in 2018 which no way in hell happens.

I would love to see something new from these titles:
1)Atlus Project Re Fantasy
2)Granblue Fantasy Project Re: Link
3)Hideo Baba's studio Istolia project

But i actually don't expect to see any of them! :p

I'd like to see more licensed games coming from Japan. I miss old Konami.

To pile on some more Konami hate, if you're unfamiliar with the atrocity that is the PC version of Super Bomberman R, WOW. Konami never deserves another cent from a gamer again.

Totally broken. Game basically didn't even work. Laughably crappy company today.

Is the Sony PlayStation LineUp Tour a live event or something like a Nintendo Direct that can be livestreamed or is it a video that will be uploaded at PSBlog? Anyone got a link frow where it can be viewed regardless the format it will be in?

Hope the TWEWY thing leads to a sequel.

I feel like that concept is fresh enough to be like what Persona was for RPGs. They just didn't bother much with it after the first game.

Also the guy behind the music for the game has been given remix work ever since and that's fucking sad. Waste of incredible talent.

Nah that would require the involvement of From Software themselves and i don't think they are interested.
Probably not, lots of it is already done though.

A change to world tendancy would be welcome as well.

Did it sell better in the west or Asia?

Crystal Chronicles over FF8.

I know FF8 has its critics but come on square. What are you doing -_-

Square likes to keep "the big ones" on lockdown for when they're in dire financial straits. It's why we haven't heard a whisper about an FF6 remake, or even a true remake of 1 or 2.

I’m wondering if SMT V will do something like TMS. It will come back a year later and it won’t look at all like the original trailer.

But TMS was good, so I’m sure Atlus can get something good.

SMTV is mainline game so I'm sure they will still keep the same atmosphere. TMS was fantastic game, the mistake they did with very first reveal trailer is give people impression that this be cross over with characters with each series.

Did anything interesting come out of TGS? I've seen a few trailers from games that didn't interest me. I've been scanning news sites and haven't seen any announcements of note. The biggest things I've seen have been the Dreams preview (which didn't seem like much new to me, personally, but I'm not following the game closely) and the announcement that Ace Attorney trilogy is coming to consoles in the west in 2019.

Anyone see anything else noteworthy?

edit: Well, here is the lineup for tomorrow. It might produce something interesting.

September 23
11:00 to 11:40 – Project Judge
12:00 to 12:40 – Warriors Orochi 4
13:00 to 13:40 – Kingdom Hearts III
14:00 to 14:50 – Let’s Play SIE WWS Titles with Shuhei Yoshida!
15:30 to 16:40 – Death Stranding – Hideo Kojima returns to Tokyo Game Show after two years. Furthermore, he has come with the Japanese cast of Death Stranding. An introduction to Death Stranding, character casting details, behind the scenes stories, and then after that… this will be a event loaded with information you can only hear at Tokyo Game Show. Featuring MC Yuki Iwai (Haraichi), guests Hideo Kojima, Akio Ootsuka, Kikuko Inoue, Kenjiro Tsuda, Satoshi Mikami, and Nana Mizuki.

Lots of smaller things got footage and announcements (like BlazBlue Central Fiction Switch) but it seems like all the "big" games were already known. We got more footage which is nice for those looking forward to these games.

is it me or is tgs this year a real let down? It used to have some cool reveal and interesting trailers but I haven't really seen anything of note besides some dmc/resident evil stuff

I'm just curious why Square spent all this money to make a gorgeous Romancing Saga remake but didn't spend that same effort on Final Fantasy 6.

Sorry to ask this but any news on DQ11 for Switch? Yuji Hori said that we could expect some news at TGS this year.
