I've played the demo until after you stun the ghost with the crucifix.

I'm in.

The movement is very clunky as is often the case with these point and click games and some of the animations are not finished (I hope) but the setting, presentation, music and concepts are extremely intriguing.

Not sure why but I thought the game was going to be a cRPG not a tactical stealth game. Not a big fan of stealth games in general, and I did have some frustrations with the demo at first but it has grown on me over the past few days (have finished the demo twice now). Love the art, music, the characters, story, etc but there are some micromanagement parts to it (balancing of sanity/health, crafting, etc that you do at night in the cell) that may cause me trouble later on. I hated all that stuff in Darkest Dungeon, but this might not be that bad. Will have to see I suppose.

Good take

I like Blasphemous, but I'm not even trying this as I don't like stealth games, especially if they're isometric (Commandos comes to mind, which is one of my biggest regret purchases).

All of my WHAT. Love Commandos to bits and really wish for you to expand that so I can get a better understanding.

I like a lot about this but hate the art style to a silly degree. It looks like those new Netflix takes on cartoons. Really cheap and "thin". I'll probably still buy it and get over it.

Edit: Hmmm. This game deserved a bit more rhan my original post. I think the soundtrack and sound design is fantastic. For them to literally pick up Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3 down to the exact vision cone design but in a gothic setting is something I didn't know I wanted. The biggest issue with the demo really is the controls. It's often incredibly hard to highlight things properly, move a characters accurately and the 1/2/3 to switch characters is really unintuitive. I really hope they worked on the controls since the demo because it knocked it down a full point for me.

I'll pick it up for sure and I think this has a ton of promise. The made a point to state they worked on a lot of feedback they received after the demo. 7/10 for the demo but I can see it turn out to be a real sleeper hit. The level design and character abilities are really cool so far. The idea of each character having essentially mental issues and fears is pretty cool shit considering it takes place in that place.
