When mentioning Falcom’s IPs that aren’t Ys or Trails, Kondo acknowledged the recently announced new entry of the Tokyo Xanadu series, which is currently Japan-only. While details on the game itself are still not yet detailed, Kondo did say that Falcom’s younger staff is developing this project. He also emphasized the younger staff’s eagerness to craft something new.

You can view the partial quoted exchange below:
Azario Lopez: Falcom is known for a handful of series. Is it difficult for creators not to want to create new IPs?

Toshihiro Kondo: Earlier this year in Japan, we announced a new entry in the Tokyo Xanadu series. The younger staff within Nihon Falcom is developing this game. This is something fans should really look forward to and it’s essentially a new IP…

PR translation: Putting our experienced people on this side-gig project would have been a total waste, so we gave it to the green kids.

I didn't even know a new TX was in the works. Cool.
Easy to miss, tbh. :messenger_grinning_sweat: Here's the official announcement/teaser:

Well, technically speaking the Xanadu series is a spin-off from the Dragon Slayer series (more specifically Dragon Slayer II).

And when Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes (the sixth game) spun off into the Legend of Heroes series, it in turn spawned the Trails sub-series starting with The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.

So when you want to be anal about it, their two IPs are Dragon Slayer and Ys.
