Been playing through this on Xbox, and damn the colours and brightness are really dark and grimy. There are no brightness settings, only gamma and the contrast spectrums seem really odd.

Anyone had this issue, is this just the games art style and colour grading? It's really difficult to play through.

It's crazy how much better Spacer Choice edition looks by just making the environments brighter. Such a massive difference. I believe Gamepass only has the original version, which is really dumb. PS+ has Spacers Choice. At least they did a couple months ago when I played it

Played both the original and Spacer's Choice versions, the color tone is different but I don't recall having any issues like excessive or notable darkness in the original release.

Check your screen calibrations, I guess ?

Oh for sure you're getting the OG lighting. The entire game got a once over and it's much better for it

If I recall correctly they went with a weird visual style on purpose to help colour blind people play the game or something like that.
