Musashi Wins!
FLAWLESS VICTOLY!
the graphics. I think they did a nice job. The slow-downs are not very noticeable or terribly frequent. Granted, it's not as nice as MGS2, but it's fine. I also really like the voice acting and some of the over the top cinematics. The problem for me is...the controls are pretty shoddy. For this type of game, in this series you would think precision would be much more noticeable. Maybe the GC controller is just wrong for the game but between bad button usage and accidental wrong movements I find it a little frustrating. Also, didn't they think a little more about how the new viewpoints and such would work out with the maps?
Don't get me wrong, it's still a great game, it was one of the best games ever before this version ever came out and there's some nice things here. But the nice thing about the Metal Gear series is that you expect a certain level of polish with the finished product and it's not really there with this title. I don't believe that's why SK got fired or moved along, but I do think it's why the sales were mediocre. Even with the base material you don't get that sense that the game stands head and tales above other releases.
Anyhow, sorry to rant about this title again, but I just busted it out after scamming blockbuster for a new cube.
