I'm excited too see more of fable, perfect dark, gears etc. Fable in particular is of big interest too me because i grew up playing fable on my xbox 360 and it's pure nostalgia too me.

I don't think they'll show Fable again until they have the PS5 port ready to announce.

Reason: They will not be able to hide Xbox behind the Activision/King numbers next year because it propped them up this year & now they have to at least make the investors believe that things are about to turn around with the " This is an Xbox" campaign.

Im not talking about the revenue ceasing to exist I'm talking about how this year the Xbox decline was hidden by the added revenue from Activision/King coming on board. So next year they will actually have to go up to keep from showing a decline vs this year.

I'd be interested in seeing more of Fable. I feel like everything so far has been focused on the main character's looks. I'd like to get past that and find out more about the game and gameplay.

Yeah, that's the only XGS game from the upcoming lineup that is looking somewhat interesting and competitive. Looking forward to seeing more of actual, uncut gameplay.

My guesses for Xbox first party schedule:

Avowed: Feb
South of Midnight: March or April
Doom: Summer
Outer Worlds: Fall
Fable: Winter

If Avowed and Fable turn out well, that would be a good year. I was lukewarm about the first Outer Worlds, but maybe the second will be better. (I'm mostly focused on their RPGs.)

That's the plan but it's going to take time before the " why pay for a Xbox game" stigma wears off so these games can sell really well across other platforms.

but my original comment wasn't directed at Xbox themselves but the people who keep rushing out with these messages of momentum and potential when they haven't seen any real results they just been told to push that message.

more revenue from PS than Xbox for sure. enough revenue to offset the losses? that's the question. ports of old games ain't gonna cut it. they will need to release Day1 AAA bangers to be meaningful.

Its ok even myself as a true Xbox warlord allow them posts, after all if it wasnt for the odd old Xbox game coming to PS there would be hardly any games coming out for them, just got some Ghosts next year then some slap head space jolly up after that. We let them eat a little . To get them real happy I can confirm at the Jan Xbox event they will anounce that old arse Starfield game is coming to Playstation around August time.
