Home Video Essentials, a product of Rentrak Corporation, has released a preliminary list of the top renting videogames for the week ending June 27, 2004.
Here are the top 10:
1. DRIV3RPS2
2. Red Dead RevolverPS2
3. DRIV3RXbox
4. Tom Clancys Splinter Cell: Pandora TomorrowPS2
5. Shadow Ops: Red MercuryXbox
6. NBA BallersPS2
7. Need for Speed: UndergroundPS2
8. Red Dead RevolverXbox
9. Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher BayXbox
10. Hitman: ContractsPS2
Ataris DRIV3R took two of the top three spots this week, with the PlayStation 2 version earning an estimated $412,459 in weekly rental income, and the Xbox product bringing in about $252,107 more. Ataris Shadow Ops: Red Mercury also debuted in the top 10, taking in approximately $201,061 in rental turns from its number five position.
