Controversy and politics aside, Six Days' gameplay is so cool, the idea of randomizing the levels is so brilliant!
One of the most fun tactical shooters I've played in a while, when you find a house full of insurgents and the gunfight begins, the chaos is so amazing and immersive, like, the first time it reached a point where the gunfire lifted so much dust that I could barely see a meter in front of me my jaw just dropped. The sound is amazing as well.
Too bad they chose this setting instead of going for an also realistic but fictional one, I truly believe the game would be far more popular if it didn't have the Iraq war name attached to it. That plus the obvious US MIC propaganda trying to white wash the battle and the war in general... the first time I booted up the game I couldn't help but roll my eyes with their documentary style propaganda videos... thankfully the gameplay more than made up for that.
(Random vid I found that shows the intensity pretty well)
