Synopsis: Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly TWISTED METAL tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.​

I bet they did. It probably started as GAAS and got cancelled but the TV show remains.

I honestly enjoyed the first season for what it was, just dumb fun. Bunch of cool nods and easter eggs though.

But now Twisted Metal is actually starting this season, hopefully it'll be better than the first season as a result, but if it's more of the same I'll be fine with that.

I really, really, really wish we'd get a new Twisted Metal, especially after the last one that.... wasn't that good. I'd much rather have something in the vein of Black. Along with them going back to characters being attached to their vehicles. The whole vehicle swapping thing in the last one was a turn off for me.

It sucks that Sony doesn't have a Twisted Metal game in development.
