Actor Peter Stormare, who played Dr. Hill in the original game and in the remake, made a post on social media suggesting that a sequel is in development.

On Instagram today, the actor posted a photo of a fake newspaper with the headline “Until Dawn sequel confirmed with remake?”.

They got Hayden Panettiere back to shoot an after credits scene basically confirming it

Hopefully the lackluster reception to the "Directors Cut" (it's a better description then Remake) has zero bearing on the Sequel.
Hopefully they bring back Brett Dalton too.

I personally believe that the movie's performance will ultimately decide if stuff keeps going.

Firesprite Studios is said to be working on the sequel, I'd imagine a lot of change's made in Until Dawn was probably borrowed from their project.

I really doubt the idea of Sony asking a studio made up by former Supermassive staff to remake Until Dawn, only to have an internal studio releasing a sequel... a year later? It's much more likely to be The Persistence 2, IMO.

Until Dawn 2 is probably already in production, and it probably went into production before the Movie began filming.
The fact that Hayden had her Pink hair during the scenes she shot for Until Dawn (2024) means she did before Scream VI as well.
Furthermore if Peter Stormare is returning... that probably means Rami Malek must be returning too,
