“Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is our third collab DLC, and our second made in collaboration with with the KONAMI team!

Vampire Survivors would have been a very different game hadn't it been influenced by Castlevania in the first place, so this is straight up the definition of a dream coming true.
This is not a standard DLC pack. This is a celebration of this historical game series, an incredible, full-circle moment in which we have invested all the energy we could muster, and then some!

As usual a huge thanks to all the fans for making this possible, and please try not to binge it when it releases: it's big. IT'S BIG.

What heroes from Castlevania will be able to resist the urge to join the Vampire Survivors in their hopeless search for a vampire?”

* 20+ characters
* 40+ new weapons between base versions and evolutions.
* 1 huge stage
* 30+ music covers
* We could tell you the exact numbers, but we don't want to scare you.

I cry about Xbox and hate PlayStation.

I believe this is the largest DLC so far?

I’m knee deep in games right now through my own fault. I’m juggling my time between core keeper, halls of torment and brigador.

Halls of Torment is eating my time with this genre so it’ll take a while for me to check this out.

This is awesome, but I don't think I have it in me to play any more of it. I maxed myself out on this amazing game when it was still in it's vanilla, no expansions phase. There's only so many times I can max out weapons and spend 30 minutes watching dopamine fireworks before I snap.

That being said, it is one of my favorite retired games of all time. But it is extremely retired.

Super recommended if you are new to it or aren't burnt out.

Edit: I'll probably buy it just to support the devs

25 hours deep in to a crack addiction. Need to play dead space remake but can’t tear myself away from this 😂

I have 114/221 trophies. Only 10 more for the base game platinum. Game is so addictive.

probably would have made more sense to release it a week or two BEFORE Halloween...not on Halloween. I tend to put spooky stuff in the rearview mirror on Nov 1st

Will get. I played through most of the content when it released on console. Didnt bother with the update or DLC. But will get this for sure.

This does look really cool, but man I’m so burnt out on this game and its imitators.
this genre is the flavour of the month, but you can only catch lightning in a bottle once maybe twice if you're lucky. this game is still way better than all of its clones and imitators but i'm also done with it and would rather play "real" games.

This game is so simple, so cheap, but so fun.

I put more hours into Vampire Survivors than most AAA games

great dlc, the stage is nice with all the secrets and bosses and even some sidescrolling sections, characters/weapons are cool and the new music kicks ass, but on top of that, it actually includes original compositions as well, like the insanely good heart of fire harmony of despair version.
I wonder what kind of deal they struck with konami to be able to sell this at 4 bucks, I'm guessing this is a net loss for them unless it sells a lot, no wonder the dev wrote this in the faq
Despite being so big and definitely being a big step up in production, we still have to price this fairly in the context of the other DLCs and of the base game. Normally something like this would not be sustainable; we could do this only thanks to the massive support we have received and keep receiving from the players, so we also want this to be accessible to as many fans as possible.

I was lukewarm on it when I played it. It's not the game's fault, just a genre I'm not much a fan of. BUT! As a Castlevania fan, this is something I want to try and perhaps it's enough to pull me in a little more...

This game is the only reason why I still keep my XSX around in the living room, instead of selling it off.

This DLC is amazing. A ridiculous amount of content for £2.69, I kind of feel the devs are short-changing themselves. So much love has went into every aspect of the add on, and the doppelgänger fight switching things up like it did was an amazing surprise!
Obviously don't want to spoil it for those that haven't found it yet, but it was such a creative and clever thing to do!
